4um: White families wear yokes, chains while apologizing for slavery

If you’ve ever felt the need to apologize for slavery, today is your lucky day!

A group called The Lifeline Expedition will put you in chains and let you be humiliated by blacks, all in the name of healing.

NEWPORT – The sight of a 13-year-old boy with a yoke over his head and his hands tied in chains was perhaps the most controversial image in Thursday’s “slavery reconciliation march” through the streets of Newport.
Jacob Lienau of Camano Island in Washington said he decided on his own to wear the yoke and chains after seeing a painting of African slave children wearing them in the 19th century, and hearing about the march.
Lienau and his large family, including his parents, Shari and Michael Lienau, and their four biological children and five adopted children, are part of the Lifeline Expedition that is visiting prominent American slave-trading ports from the Colonial era this month. They marched in Marblehead, Salem and Boston in Massachusetts earlier this week and in Providence on Wednesday.
“We recognize this is an unusual form of symbolic action,” said a brochure the marchers handed out to passersby. “Our hope and prayer is that this form of apology will speak in ways that words cannot.”
The group submitted a letter to the Newport City Council, asking the council to vote on a letter of apology for the city’s past involvement in the slave trade. City councils in Liverpool and Bristol in England approved such letters.
The group then left Newport for Virginia, where they will march in Richmond, Jamestown and Williamsburg, and then on to South Carolina, where they will march in Charleston.

I hear that if you pay for the premium package it comes with an authentic whipping, which is the perfect cure for white folks who feel a little extra guilty.

Seriously though, what kind of “man” would ever allow his son to be emasculated like this?

These modern day apologists were obviously never end users of the product, nor were they involved in the capture, the transport during the horrifically recounted Middle Passage or slave market auctions.

And, yet their guilt abounds as a message to the rest of us who no doubt lack conscience and awareness of our never ending and mutually shared responsibility.

If this is something we should embrace then someday we can expect to see others who self punish while apologizing for the victims of the drug wars such as the hot war in Mexico today.

Powerful figures are quick to point out that Americans are the targeted consumers of the smuggled contraband. And, in fact the drug trade has become a steady source of income for factions of our govt in order to fund off budget- black budget assassinations, manufactured upheavals, mind control experiments, etc.,

And many cops rely on seizures of suspected contraband (Rolex watches without the receipt in hand) and cash (from migrant workers who choose not to bank with The Fed) Some small town cops who are blessed with a contiguous boundary with an interstate highway can fund their new equipment and Aspen ski vacations with accurate profiles of travelers who probably have cash and valuables with them. And,by selecting travelers who live in other states it then becomes a federal matter to attempt to reclaim wrongfully seized goods, a process that could take years and fails to identify the correct items, particularly those without properly documented serial numbers. ("It took 8 years to get to court and they gave me a TIMEX instead of my OMEGA. I was so upset that I neglected to demand an accurate inventory of my seized goods at the time of the highway robbery by uniformed thugs!")

No folks, if I choose to wallow in guilt it will be because of my inattention and neglect to/of the little kids who are shot in drive by hosings by nickel dime entrepreneurs in American cities. I could have at least helped these misguided souls by offering to accurize their weapons and perhaps offer a tip or two on hosing the correct targets.

This failure on my part could consume my soul if I let it. I don't need to visit the 17th century to mine shared responsibility for the crime of being white.

It's called repenting. Except in the religious context it is apologizing for our humanity, and here it is apologizing for something equally silly for which we have nothing to apologize for.

And, when you consider that nearly every advocacy group for civil rights, gay marriage, etc., is led by a Jewish person, then....

I know it reads as if I'm agreeing with you but, the sarcastic way you wrote it tells me that you don't believe that the way to worship Jesus is by bending your will to those who are charged with the holy mission of Tikkun olam. They may appear to others as pains in the ass and busybodies but if Jesus was here (he's not but Pastor John Hagee is!) he'd tell you himself that persons of the Jewish race/religion are doing G_D's work! (Well, except for the commies and Bukake porn makers of course)

In fact, a study of early religion pretty well proves that G_D bungled things repeatedly until he called a few Jewish persons Of The Covenant home, no doubt to serve in administrative and advisory roles....

So, if you see a crowd gathering around a guy with frizzy hair, a proboscis and a bullhorn you may wanna listen up because it could be G_D talking!
