"Believe nothing merely because you have been told it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be kind, conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings - that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide. ~ Gautama Siddhartha The Buddha
That was awesome. It certainly reminds us of how insignificant our little planet is compared to the rest of Creation.
What lies beyond it must be equally amazing. Something existed BEFORE the Big Bang, it had to form from SOMETHING. For all we know, that something was God.
Trying to conceive of what exists OUTSIDE of our Universe can result in either enlightenment or severe headaches, perhaps both... :)
If one thinks in terms of a Multiverse of more than one coexistent universe separated by only frequency it becomes even more mind boggling. Infinity is a really really big number. ;-)

Just watched it with the 6 yr old at 6am (720p resolution). Pretty good.

If one imagines how many different species there are on this planet and how many different individuals of each species and that each one of those individuals has thoughts and feelings and hopes and dreams and fears and doubts and loves and hates and experiences joy and pain and wonder and needs and desires and memories and that's just at any given moment... then consider how it's constantly changing like a motion picture and then consider that there are likely countless other planets like ours that can and do support some sort of life organisms or entities and those are only the ones we can see and then think that, like you say, there are quite possibly or perhaps very likely many or an infinite number of alternate universes operating at different frequencies and/or in different dimensions.... and then consider that we are all one... connected in a sea of energy... then there is only one of us and we are all the same god experiencing itself through countless different expressions... forgetting how lonely I(we/you) am(are)...
anyway, thanks for that and good morning! :)
"If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers" ~ Thomas Pynchon Gravity's Rainbow
Life is ubiquitous, and yes, upon a higher level than the mere physical universe - however staggering its extent, we are all interconnected, yet independent entities. There is really only one imperative in life - create. One can create joy and happiness, or, as those of darker nature, one can create destruction. I'll go with joy and happiness myself.
