Just a musing - however, if the project is aimed at cooling the planet for some unspecified reason then if massive efforts to prevent "Global Warming" would have the effect of accelerating that cooling. So, of course the question becomes: Why? I don't have an answer just a possible connection between the two.
Another possibility that suggests itself is the possibility that they (elements within der guffermint) are creating a barrier, because of the high quantity of metal particulates, to act as a ground, or reflector, to an EMF effect from a massive solar flare. Which of course begs the question: "Do they have the technology to predict the likelihood of a major solar eruption?"
