(CNN) -- One of the jurors who acquitted George Zimmerman said she had "no doubt" he feared for his life in the final moments of his struggle with Trayvon Martin, and that was the definitive factor in the verdict.

The juror spoke to CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" on Monday night. Her identity was concealed.

She said she believed Zimmerman's "heart was in the right place" the night he killed Martin, but that he didn't use "good judgment" in confronting the Florida teen.

"I think George Zimmerman is a man whose heart was in the right place, but just got displaced by the vandalism in the neighborhoods and wanting to catch these people so badly that he went above and beyond what he really should have done. But I think his heart was in the right place. It just went terribly wrong," she said.

If anything, Zimmerman was guilty of not using "good judgment," the juror said.

"When he was in the car, and he had called 911, he shouldn't have gotten out of that car," she said.

She also said she believes Martin threw the first punch in their confrontation.

So the Juror believe zimmerman was guilty but that it was ok... because his heart was in the right place when he was murdering trayvon.

Trayvon was being stalked and followed in his own neighborhood by some stranger he did not know, who came up to him. If stand your ground law has an application surely trayvon had a right to stand his ground if George was the aggressor.... we can not be sure that is the truth... but we can be sure it was not Zimmerman begging for his life. Of this we can be certain.

She also said that there were "fabrications" and "enhancements" in what zimmerman said on tape but that she believed his version of the story. If she thinks that Zimmerman lied then why is she treating his story as credible???

Physical evidence on Zimmerman of the beating. Eye witness accounts of the beating. Testimony from the detectives working the case.

Did you not watch the video of the juror explaining how the jury came to their decision?

I watched the whole thing and there is a part where she uses the words I quoted to indicate that Zimmerman was not telling the truth. Since there was no opportunity to cross-examine Zimmerman on the stand, whether you believe Zimmerman is truthful in the video re-enactment of his version of what happened is pretty important.

The claim that Trayvon threw the first punch is not supported by any evidence other than Zimmerman's word. If Zimmerman is not credible then we should not draw that conclusion.

The injury to the back of Zimmerman's head supports the claim that Trayvon was on top during some portion of the fight but it does not absolutely prove that Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman and beating Zimmerman in the moment's prior to Zimmerman pulling the trigger.

And his bloody and (appeared to be) broken nose. Zimmerman never had any bruises on his knuckles indicating he threw any punch, let alone the first one.

Why would a crazed, hate filled white (hispanic) vigilante armed with a pistol looking to kill a poor innocent ten year old black child like Trayvon even bother with fisticuffs? /s

See where tailoring the narrative to fit pre-concieved notions leads us?

I'm going to put that on a t-shirt. Unless you've trademarked it, that is.
