This is a good argument.

Strange times are these in which we live when old and young are taught in falsehood’s school. And the one man who dares to tell the truth is called at once a lunatic and fool.

Comments at source are worth checking.

If the dog says "top of the mornin' to you, guvnor" it would be rude not to answer him, wouldn't it?

This was the best comment of those I read (though I didn't read all of them).

Barking at a dog...well i'm glad that maniac is off the streets. Drug dealers and rapists and pedos and gangbangers i can tolerate. But barking at a dog is where i draw the line, and i will NOT stand for it!

Yeah, and send the jackass cop who thought it was a big deal with him.

The idea that goobermunt employees (including dogs) are somehow "above" the citizenry was a horrible precedent.

I did. Apparently half of them were written by Shitbag Shoo-Shoo (Goobermunt Uber Alles).

As far as I'm concerned no cop or politician is worth one whit more than anyone else. And I think it is wrong to make the punishment more severe when someone takes one out--their lives are not worth any more than anyone else's.

Goddamn, O'boingo's "sons" sure get in a lot of trouble.

Personally, I think that getting close enough to a cop to interact with them is grounds for a case of criminal stupidity. Copz iz nutz.

I don't even know any of the ones who work here anymore. I used to know all of them but at that time there were only three, max 4 at any one time. Now, even though the town has not grown that much and there is almost no crime to speak of, we have seventeen cops, two dummy cops and a "police dog." Apparently they have way too many police cars because they put them out here and there with the plastic cops in them. And it's for sure they/we have way more cops than we need (if we actually need any).

Exactly.

Read the full text of the Criminal Operations of the Police thread; it spells out the outlaw nature of this police state - the commentary is excellent also.

Yeah, why wasn't the dog arrested?

Because the dog was also a cop, and we all know we should obey cops at all times under all circumstances and if we ever feel wronged in some marginal and imaginary way we should retain lawyers and try to solve our little issues utilizing the court systems and NEVER by taking the law into our own hands by barking back.

Yeah, why wasn't the dog arrested?

Is there a recording of the incident? Was Morrison simply acknowledging Officer K9, or was he being disrespectful? Is a translator available? Were the dog's civil rights violated? People need to know!
