Study part-funded by the CIA to investigate national security implications of geoengineering

Climate change 'behind world's extreme weather'

The power, reach and influence of the Central Intelligence Agency is a staple of conspiracy theories.

The news that the CIA is reportedly part-funding a scientific geoengineering study into how to control the weather is unlikely to dampen speculation over their activities.

According to US website 'Mother Jones' the CIA is helping fund a study by the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) that will investigate whether humans could use geoengineering - which is defined as deliberate and large-scale intervention in the Earth's climatic system - to stop climate change.

The NAS website describes the study as an investigation into "a limited number of proposed geoengineering techniques, including examples of both solar radiation management (SRM) and carbon dioxide removal (CDR) techniques."

The purpose of this is to comment "generally on the potential impacts of deploying these technologies, including possible environmental, economic, and national security concerns", the website claims.

Solar radiation management (SRM) is a theoretical branch of geoengineering which moots the idea of reflecting sunlight in an attempt to block infrared radiation and halt rising temperatures.

The cost of the project is reported to be $630,000, which NAS is splitting with the CIA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and NASA reports say.

A reference on the NAS website to "the US intelligence community" funding the project refers to the CIA, an NAS spokesman claimed.

Much speculation has surrounded claims that the US government has long been involved in types of weather manipulation, including a much-discussed attempt to cloud-seed - the process of dispersing substances into the air to create cloud condensation or ice nuclei and subsequently rain or snow - during the Vietnam war.

It was also widely reported that the Chinese government seeded clouds ahead of the 2008 Olympics opening ceremony to create a downpour elsewhere and keep the stadium dry by firing iodide crystals into rain clouds over Beijing.

Weather manipulation was most recently in the news after claims by some American commentators that devastating tornadoes in Oklahoma, along with other extreme weather events like Hurricane Sandy, were created by the US government using the Haarp antenna farm in Alaska.

A CIA spokesman refused to comment on the NAS study but told Mother Jones: "It's natural that on a subject like climate change the Agency would work with scientists to better understand the phenomenon and its implications on national security."

A study group recently released its findings as to the best presidents of the United States of America.

Obama has been rated as the 4th best president ever:

Reagan and 9 others tied for first, 15 presidents tied for second, 18 tied for third, and Obama came in fourth.

it is not exactly new news. How many years have the geoengineers been holding their own internatinoal conferences (because their governments wouldn't and they began to step on each others toes)? It is old news...

At this stage in the game you got those that understand it and those that disbelieve it by faith ..because their government told them to never believe outrageous conspiracy theory....even when the government admits to it.

Smokescreen. What is known in the trade as a "limited hang out" or "Cover Legend".

In either case this is cover. Research by the US Feral Guffermint into "Weather Control" began more than 25 years ago.

Chemtrails have been showing up in our skies since at least the mid to late 80's - if not before.

This is to divert attention from programs and capabilities that are already extant. The point being that they want people to notice this and "think", "D'oh, gee Marge look at what the guffermint just started doing."

Yes, whenever they admit to something, it's so old and common knowledge to be laughable.

Exactly. The SR-71 Spy Plane went online in, at the latest, 1958, but the government would not even admit its existence until 1972. I built a model of it in 1965 from a plastic model kit. (Despite hints we still do not know what has taken its place.)

Just a few of the things Der Feral Guffermint will not talk about or admit to:

The confiscation of Nikola Tesla's Working Papers when he died - in 1943.

The technology acquired from Nazi Scientists (particularly anti-gravity research) at the end of WWII.

The Secret Space Program which uses non-rocket propulsion systems. It's existence was revealed when a Congresscritter on the Intelligence Committee asked an inadvertent question about it. Based on the information from one hacker that the government has been trying, for over ten years, to extradite from England there is already a functioning Space Navy.

Recovered Alien Craft and reverse engineering the technology of them.

What sort of research is/was done at Area 51.

The Brookings Report done for NASA in 1958-1960 which recommended covering up alien artifacts on the Moon, Mars, and elsewhere.

Energy Research that makes "Fossil" Fuels obsolete i.e., working fusion plants, zero point energy, cold fusion, catalytic cracking of the Hydrogen from the water molecule.

And the list goes on. The list of what the government is suppressing is longer than the list of what they will admit exists.

The existence of a technology not admitted by der lying sacks of excreta in der guffermint is voluminous.

Great list, and correctly, you put Tesla at the top.

Just can't have free energy for all, now can we?

Merci Beaucoup. Just to follow up with the thought you inspired:

No, that would be bad for the utility companies - that are all, the larger ones, owned mostly by der elite in one fashion or another. (Notice that the Italian Professor and his proven functional "Tabletop Power Plant" have both disappeared and a lot of the references to them have been "scrubbed".

Part of the real reason for preventing practical backyard power plants from getting loose is control.

People on a power grid can have their power shut off anytime some bureaucratic flunky is ordered to cut it off. It is a stranglehold on power. (Please pardon the pun.)

However, it goes a lot deeper than that. If you accept, as I do, that a lot of the control mechanisms currently in place are controls of the mind, think Psychiatrists and Psychologists, then anything, such as cheap power, upsets that control grid. That also explains the push behind GMOs and literally forcing them down our throat.

Food is a major control mechanism because if you threaten to cut off someone's food supply that is basically a death sentence. People become very agreeable very fast when threatened with starvation. And again recall the so-called "Health Bill" that effectively outlaws backyard vegetable gardens (and Oh'Fascist's Eksecuteef Hoarders - that illegally make any food you have stored for emergencies government property anytime they want to take it from you). They just have not yet gotten to the point to where they are ready to enforce it. There would be too much push back at this time.

By polluting the environment with GMOs they also ensure that not only are people eating toxic food that will, not if, result in a birthrate crash, and sicken people to the point they no longer think of resisting, BUT it also ensures backyard gardens are contaminated and thus making them liable to be shut down for infringing some NWO Biotech Company's Patents (think Monsatan and Bayer Crap Science, among others), but I digress.

Cheap and abundant off the grid energy does a lot of "bad" things from the perspective of a psychotic bent on complete cradle to grave control:

It makes people independent of their local energy monopolies.
This leads to Independence of thought. You just can't have that in a "Hive Society". Der Serfs might tell the leahder to shove off. You must conform und do ass der leahder hoarders.
It also makes small business much more viable and competitive with large multinationals.
You would see the economy explode into vibrancy overnight. Our economy runs on energy and a cheap, independent, reliable, easy to maintain, power plant technology independent of all of the window dressing we are currently forced to put up with is very very liberating.

BUT WAIT JOHNNY THERE'S MORE! A lot of prototypes and ideas for propulsion systems (think cheap space travel) hang up on the lack of a power source independent of the grid and not weighing in at megatons because of the required radiation shielding. What could be more liberating, or economically expanding, than practical, cheap, space travel. Something that puts, oh, say Mars, just days, if not hours, away?

One of the greatest crimes against humanity is keeping energy technology suppressed merely for the aggrandizement, in both power and money, of a very very few.
