My, my, my, I hardly know where to begin in offering a response to your post. I understand your frustration with the "Turtle" postings; they are, by-and-large, totally inane. My personal view, on them, is that they offer some form of comic relief. They are a throwback to a simpler time. When you live in the matrix, "Leave it to Beaver" offers a stress-free view of the world and, "No", it's not reality, not even close, but it is, in its' own way, optimistic and somewhat uplifting. Don't concern yourself with rather, or not, people are "wasting time" here; most assuredly, they are, and that includes you, my friend, and myself, as well. Bring here what you feel is important but don't do so with the expectation that others will feel the same. Try to accept that some people are just meant to be turtles and don't waste your time, or get frustrated, when you can't change them into hares. good post. I don't think 4um is a waste of time. it is a place to read interesting news stories and read input from a wide variety others which can prove knowledgeable and/.or valuable. Sure, it's not life or death but is a nice place to spend some leisure time. That's what I consider it.
