Earlier tonight JT posted an article from The Onion. When I clicked the link to go to the source I got it for just a couple of seconds and then it disappeared. Happened again when I just typed in theonion.com without the rest of the url that went to that specific article. It came up but just for a second or two and then vanished. I have no idea why that happened or how it is possible. That is why I am asking--thanks for clearing it up for me if you understand it (I sure don't).

Today I made a post to Horse that included the misspelled word "consience." Lod saw my post, then cut and pasted what I said, then commented about my post.

While reading Lod's post to me, I realized that I spelled "conscience" wrong, so I edited and corrected my post to Horse, but it changed in Lod's post too.

Now that shouldn't happen. I found the posts on the rape recant thread and see the timestamp of the edit.... Are you sure your quote was misspelled in Lod's post? My guess is Lod must have corrected your spelling before he posted his reply to you.

I'm not positive about the exact sequence of events.

I got the spelling of "conscience" mixed up with "conscious" in my original post to Horse, so I edited it. Something about my correction didn't look right either, so I googled it, then edited my post a second time. At some point in the above process I remember thinking that it was weird that the word "conscience" in Lod's cut & paste was spelled correctly. I even looked at it twice to make sure. I think all this happened within 2-3 minutes of my original post. I don't know what it all means.

The real problem is using big words. We're mostly Conservatives here, so as "the others" see us, we're Drooling Idiots.

Any attempts to up-grade our image must be approved thru Chris Matthews.
