America in Syria: how bad will it get??

We will use drones and tomahawks. Few US lives will be lost compared to how many the state will take. And in that a red line is crossed. Russia must get involved but the depth of their involvement can only be summed up in a two sided coin for me.

As long as we are not attacking them directly they will support other nations in their resistance. Once we put boots on their soil or planes in their skies I think Puten won't hesitate to push that button.

It is world war.

We are the aggressors.

Invading afganistan , iraq, yemen, lybia , and now syria and on and on as a bully imperilaist state will.

God save us.

No not over syria but syria is the last line for the other nations of the region.

Excellent question...

It can be best answered with a study of history and geo/politics.

Men make the same mistakes with evil intentions over and over. Those of us that were around during the run up to WW2 see the current situation as a re run. Few wars are brought by mistake or error, most are occur by intent, long in the making.

Example...

Japan was preparing for WW2 before WW1 ended. Shortly after WW1 the US was preparing the Pacific for war with Japan. It was called Plan Orange.

Ninety days after WW1, General Hans von Seeckt of the German general staff was drawing up the plans for the next invasion of France, thru the Ardennes.

During the 1930s, Stalin was building a military force with the intent of moving to the English Channel.

Now China emerges as a world power, a force to be reckoned with.

The last thing the Russians and the rest of Southeast Asia want to see is the US go home.

Many forces in play, Syria is not worth a world war for anyone.
