Pat's likely correct. Assad isn't an idiot and attacking his own civilian population would give the world good cause to invade.

Agree, the notion is absurd. And, btw, I can't count the many of pics I've seen of these gas victims being tended to w/o masks, gloves, etc. There was and is no benefit for Assad to have done this. My one concern is with this pratfall gone bad they will try another one soon. It's appears to be a Jew thing.

PS: Where was our outrage when the Persians gassed the Iraqis during their 10-year war in the 80s?

Comment at another posted video, which is much like what Buchannan said above 1:45 -- regardless of how much anyone dislikes Assad or the Assad "regime":

Its...

I have suffered thru the machinations of many presidents, in so doing I must say that Jimmy Carter without question was the most moral, honest person to sit in the White House.

Below is what he thinks of Obama as written in an op-ed in NYT...

"

"Carter is a strident critic of President Barack Obama’s anti-terror policies. In 2012, he penned a New York Times op-ed calling the U.S. human rights record “cruel and unusual,” denouncing the Obama administration’s drone strikes, indefinite detentions and warrantless wiretapping.

“At a time when popular revolutions are sweeping the globe, the United States should be strengthening, not weakening, basic rules of law and principles of justice enumerated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” Carter wrote. “But instead of making the world safer, America’s violation of international human rights abets our enemies and alienates our friends.”

Carter also voiced support for Snowden in June.

“He’s obviously violated the laws of America, for which he’s responsible, but I think the invasion of human rights and American privacy has gone too far,” he told CNN. “I think that the secrecy that has been surrounding this invasion of privacy has been excessive, so I think that the bringing of it to the public notice has probably been, in the long term, beneficial. I think the American people deserve to know what their Congress is doing.”

God only knows why the rulers put Jimmah in office, one and done, but as you say, even though he lusted in his heart, he was a decent man.

A complete boneheaded potus who gave away the Panama Canal, insanely; but luckily for my family and others, got CD interest rates up to 18+%, woo*hoo, Jimmah.

I would tend to agree.

The indirect proof of your statement is the way he has been vilified by Presstitutes in the controlled establishment propaganda organs. They have lavished so much vitriol upon the worthy Mr. Carter that there should be little doubt to anyone half aware that there is something rotten, and nastily covert, in the way he has been attacked and belittled. He is by far the only living former President worthy of any great measure of respect.

One qualification here. It is best explored by a question:

Who is truer to the actual intent of the Constitution, as given voice by Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Andrew Jackson, John Jay, et. al., Edward Snowden, or the pitiful little puppet currently infesting the White House?

Who is a greater friend of liberty and an open society? Obama or Snowden?

Very true...

When the media attacks like a packs of dogs, one can rest assured there is a reason.

I had a family member that was a reporter for five years for a major newspaper chain. The money was good, etc etc, everything had to be "cleared" by editors for the "correct" slant.

She gave up, changed professions.

No, I don't and would like to read more of what this Nun has to say that could be of help to us but Israel's Haaretz is censoring it for money:

According to Sister Agnes-Mariam [de la Croix], there are today 150,000 well-trained jihadist fighters from 80 countries in Syria,...

A lot of people just do not get that very MAJOR point. A reporter can start out full of good intentions to report accurately and fairly BUT that is not what counts in the media. What does count is what the Editor's boss wants and that is what the public gets. If anyone is still under the delusion that we have a fair and honest press then I would suggest they switch to non-fluoridated water - if it has not already given them too much brain damage.

A sign of integrity.
