As investors buy homes with their "treasures"

"A strong economy!"
And in spite all of this sleeps the bears

Silver broke $8.50 an ounce today but all is well we're told.
Silver has had quite a run. The price of silver was much, much higher in the 1970s when the Hunts brothers tried to corner the market in an effort to protect themselves against inflation. But we're told there is no inflation these days so what's to worry about?
This is not investment advice, just food for thought hopefully. Silver could very well correct back down. However, I do own 90% silver junk coins from an era where money was sound (1964 and earlier) and "they" can pry them from my cold dead fingers. That is not an invitation! ;)
