Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, step right up and see the amazing, the spectacular, the bewildering ... Hound-dini!

Yes, that's right. Step closer; Bandit the doggie won't bite. In fact, the only thing on its mind is escape from the confines of this prison-like kitchen.

But can the Bandit do it? Does it have the guts, the daring-do, the bravado to climb the counter, and the shutters, and then slink out through an open window, much like the Tim Robbins character in "The Shawshank Redemption"?

Well, yeah. This would be a pretty pointless blog entry if it didn't.

According to the description of the recently uploaded YouTube video, the dog's owner was flummoxed by his pooch's repeated escapes from his kitchen.

Seeking to solve the mystery, the owner placed his laptop in the kitchen and turned on the webcam.

The result: (Bow)-Wow! Fifty-one seconds of good old-fashioned canine ingenuity. To all you young pups out there, don't try this at home.

Below, the full video:

I haven't viewed the video (being on dialup) but sounds interesting. Anyone know the meaning of rad in this context?

Anyone know the meaning of rad in this context?

Basically it is a synonym for "cool" except with a little more emphasis. For example:

That's really cool.

Wow! That's really rad!

The root word is "radical" but this is more of a nonstandard slang usage.

But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be kind, conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings - that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide.” ~ Gautama Siddhartha — The Buddha

Amazing.

It would be better if pooch had a buddy to keep him occupied.
