Interesting - thanks.

It's still possible to resist the hive mentality and fight evil without joining a cult. To win this battle, christians are going to need the help of independant minded people who may not neccessarily conform to christian beliefs.

I am not sure that is a great approach to Christianity. Coming to understanding is alot different than conforming to the ideas and social norms of the masses.

I watched all I could take--more rapture monkey B.S.

"The government ruling us draws its authority not from the principles of the Declaration of Independence, or even from the delegate powers listed in the U.S. Constitution, but rather from the war to re-conquer the independent South. That conflict, usually referred to by the artfully misleading title “Civil War,” established the fact that the government in Washington is willing to kill Americans in whatever quantity it deems necessary in order to enforce its edicts, and then sanctify the slaughter in the name of some suitably “progressive” social objective.

I fully understand it. Do you understand the irony of your judeo-christianity?

Agreed.

Christianity suffers the same ill that the American populace suffers relative to government CORRUPTION. Biblical moralality not churchianity would surely help us all.

But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them, and gives it to other persons to whom it does not belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime.

Amen to that.

It's been several years now that I've not participated in the branded-version of Christianity, or the big-box Sunday specials.

True. Some of the most beautiful words and deepest truths are within the Gospels. But let's be honest, Christianity became political soon after inception. Is that the lesson Christ came to teach? I don't think so.

This fellow in the video misses the big gift that Christ gave to humanity in Christ Consciousness. He showed humanity how to circle the square, which is precisely how humanity can break free from the chains that bind.

Much of the "biblical morality" is politically bent, such as the morality of "giving Caesar" his tax to squander on destroying humanity in a myriad of ways. Paul had many, many political morals to share.....and cui bono?

There are plenty of legitimate reasons to hate Obama without inventing "reptilian" influence in his hair patterns. Or whatever low res, pixilated thing they were trying to convey.

I could make a better case that Diane Feinstein, John McCain, Lindsay Graham, and Joe Lieberman are the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. And that's just on their policies alone.

John Howard says: There are 4 schools of economics:
Marxism: steal everything
Keynesianism: steal by counterfeiting whenever needed
Chicago school (Milton Friedman): steal by counterfeiting at a steady, predictable rate
Austrians: don't steal

Democrats don't mind war as long as they can have big government. Republicans don't mind big government as long as they can have war.

My post wasn't an attempt at conversion but more about asking whether we may have missed the practical truths of our genetics. No decent / normal person can bomb babies. So, who are these murdering scumbags ... more importantly why should we even be expected to financially support them and their massacres ?

That last part I can agree with totally !
