All that panic and abject terror set off by an unarmed woman in a car. These people have really whipped themselves into one big foamy froth of paranoia. Pretty fuckin' funny if you ask me.
I really hope this case will be thoroughly and fairly investigated. She was a mother for goodness sake - not a gangster - police and SS saw she had a toddler in the car with her - she was trying to surrender and she was shot ( some say 6-8 times???) dead. Unbelievable.
I think they get hardons when they pump lead into the average person, knowing full well that they can get away with it and get a pat on the back after they're done.
Indeed! I thought it was really bad form for the DC Metro Police Chief to refer to this tragedy as police officers and SS acting HEROICALLY. Say what? An unarmed young mother (who either panicked after hitting the 1st barricade or who was mentally unstable right from the getgo) was shot to death as she was getting out of her car to surrender - and that's heroic? blog.al.com/wire/2013/10/...s_police_chase_and_1.html snip Cathy Lanier, chief of the D.C. Metropolitan Police, said both Capitol Police and Secret Service officers involved in the chase "acted heroically." "They did exactly what they were supposed to do," she said of the incident.
The Capitol Police were on furlough today, unpaid because of the govt shutdown, yet they showed up for work, unpaid, today and were there to stop this attack on the Congress. An intriguing question is, If the Capitol Police were officially off duty and unpaid today, will any of them get insurance benefits for injuries incurred today?
I'm sure they're covered up and down, left to right, and who said she was on a mission to destroy congress? I'd bet she was a fully medicated nut bag who probably didn't know if she was driving a Lexus or the lunar moon walker.
