The 42-year-old practicing radiologist is considering challenging Sen. Pat Roberts, who is seeking a fourth term in 2014. President Barack Obama’s second cousin is set to announce his intention to run for the US Senate during the next year’s Republican primary challenge. "The announcement will be in relation to recent speculation regarding the US Senate race in Kansas," Milton Wolf said in a press release on Monday. Wolf, who is a tea party Republican and physician opposed to Obamacare, will deliver his announcement at the Ritz Charles hotel in Overland Park, Kansas, Tuesday evening, The Hill reported. "If you agree that the Washington career politicians of both parties are failing America, then join us Tuesday evening in Overland Park!" Wolf said. The 42-year-old practicing radiologist is considering challenging Sen. Pat Roberts, who is seeking a fourth term in 2014. Wolf accused Roberts of raising the debt ceiling, bailing out Wall Street and supporting earmarks. In an email to Republican activists in August, Wolf asked them to contact him if they wanted to help "save America from our failed political class." Wolf is related to President Obama through the president's great-great grandfather, Thomas Creekmore McCurry. He had earlier criticized President Obama. “They say you can't choose your family,” Wolf said. “But I say you can choose to stop your family from turning America into a second-rate, European-style social welfare state.” “The current Republican establishment has become a mere speed bump on the Democrats' road to a government-run social-welfare state,” Wolf said. Wolf is more closely related to any random white person than Obama.
