UPDATE: Police are now using force against veterans outside of the White House
Outside the White House, riot police are confronting veterans who openly defied the Obama administration by tearing down the barricades surrounding outdoor war memorials.
Thank God we have baton wielding riot police to protect us from 85 yr old vets in wheelchairs. Thanks, Mr. Obama pic.twitter.com/hrxWzMkO18
You have a legal obligation to evaluate the morality and legality of all orders you receive, a sign posted today on the White House fence reads. You will be held responsible some day before God, humanity and (hopefully) courts of law for all orders that you carried out.
A new description for the Obama administration has emerged as a hashtag on Twitter: #SpiteHouse

Thank you, James Woods, for stating the cognitive dissonance inherent in this shameful use of police brute force against old men who served our country.
Is Obama out of his mind for authorizing this?
Shame on him! Shame, shame, shame!
Thank goodness, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, are showing solidarity with the vets and were marching with them today. One 2 Senators had the courage and the common sense to do the right thing. Where is Harry Reid? Vote this disrespectful creep out of office, Nevada! Better still - recall his deadbeat a** NOW!
Let me ask a simple question, Cruz told the crowd of hundreds that gathered beginning at 9 a.m. Why is the federal government spending money to erect barricades to keep veterans out of this memorial?

I couldn't agree more. We need visible leadership, and they are providing it. I think it's important we don't pick apart every political position they hold, we all won't agree, but rather stay focused on this limited issue and allow them to give us support.
His type are psychologically immune from feeling ashamed.
They could run a streaming video of him in the back seat of "the Beast" with a crack pipe to his lips and Larry Sinclair on his d***. Shame would never enter his mind.
That's why he was placed in his current position. It's a prerequisite for the acts he's tasked to perform.

Good question.

On Sunday, Veterans rallied at the World War II memorial, protesting with Senators Mike Lee and Ted Cruz, over the hypocrisy of closing down the Memorial. As the tide turned from singing God Bless America to chants of tear down these walls, activists, Veterans and fed up tax payers grabbed parts of the makeshift barrier and started carrying it down E Street, eventually making their way to the White House where they piled parts of the barricade on the White House sidewalk.
Leading the way was an unidentified disabled veteran who hauled pieces of the barricade on his segway.
This man should be an inspiration to all. His act of courageousness is a testament of what we can do as people, even when the obstacles seem monumental.
