Here are a couple facts we know about the flu shot so far this year: It will contain sterilized strains from the H1N1 viruses, the H3N2 viruses, and the influenza B viruses. They are included because they are the most common ones circulating through the global population today.1 Keep in mind there are many other different flu strains not covered by this shot — so there's no guarantee you won't get sick. Both H1N1 and H3N2 have been known to be particularly virulent strains. H1N1 was the cause of the infamous 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic that killed about 100 million people, and it was also responsible for a 2009 flu pandemic (the first pandemic since the 1968 Hong Kong flu). H3N2 was the cause of the 1968 Hong Kong flu pandemic. It's estimated that this particular strain is responsible for about 36,000 deaths in the U.S. each year. In case you were wondering, the H and the N in the strain name refer to two molecules: one that allow the virus to bind to and enter your cell (Hemagglutinin), and another that allows the virus to exit the cell and spread the infection (Neuraminidase).2 The numbers refer to which types of Hs and Ns the virus is made up of. Fortunately for the majority of healthy adults, the flu is more often a week of feeling like hell than a life-threatening illness. While the flu shot can come with its share of side effects (soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given; low-grade fever and aches), many people opt to experience these side effects for a day or two than risk getting the full-blown sickness for a week or two. Does this mean you should get the flu vaccine? Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to this one — but I will present the facts to you so you can make your own informed decision. While I'll be the first one to tell you how disgusted I am that Big Pharma so scrupulously turns human health into cash, you can't argue that the advent of the vaccine has saved billions of human lives. It has all but eliminated deadly small pox and crippling polio, and you can bet the flu vaccine has saved countless elderly and young lives. The goal here is to balance public and private health while not getting unnecessary vaccinations that only serve to line the pockets of Big Pharma's CEOs. Fortunately for us, the majority of vaccines are safe and effective — but the ever-changing nature of the flu puts this particular vaccine into a gray area... To help guide your decision, here are a few things to keep in mind: Are you a child, a senior citizen, or someone with a compromised immune system? It will be harder for your body to fight the infection, and the disease could take a greater toll and cause more complications (for some, it can be fatal) than in a healthy adult. Are you in an environment where you have a high risk of exposure? This obviously includes health care professionals, but should also include anybody who has a greater amount of daily contact with people: grocery store and retail employees, people in the hospitality or airline sectors, teachers, etc. People are able to spread the virus one full day after being exposed — before they even show any signs or symptoms. And don't underestimate the stupidity of people who go out in public even though they're crawling with germs. Unless you live in a cave, you're never completely safe from the flu. Are you willing to put yourself at risk of getting sick? Not just the chills, fever, sore throat, muscle pains, headache (often severe), coughing, weakness/fatigue, nausea, and gastrointestinal discomfort... but also the complications that may arise? Can you afford to miss work or other responsibilities if you become infected? Are you in a situation in which you could transmit the virus to other people if you got sick? Part of getting vaccinated is the responsibility you have to not getting others sick — especially if they have a weak or compromised immune system. If you work with children, the elderly, or have contact with other folks with weakened immune systems, you'd be wise to get vaccinated for their sakes. If you're still having trouble making a decision, ask a doctor you trust. Get them to explain their recommendation, as well its pros and cons. Take advantage of their medical expertise! Whatever you decide, I wish you a healthy fall and winter season... And remember that eating and sleeping well, regular exercise, and balancing stress throughout the colder months will inevitably help keep your body and your immune system intact and help you ward off germs and illness. Well if it's intended to kill certain people during 'economic collapse' etc and it's supposedly in pepsi,... dhs already bought trillions of rounds of ammo and pepsi is made with dead babies. so, they already got it covered anyway. im not sure if they would need any covert 'nano' stuff if they wanted to kill anyone. they kill people everyday anyway right out in the open. the guy has some other interesting sites too such as http://www.drozexposed.com/
