Why not?

Many countries - even the USA - have defaulted in the past. America, Venezuela, France, Germany are still alive and well.

Give default a chance. Let America restructure its debts paying 1 cent on the dollar.

I think we Americans should have a currency swap meet too -- maybe redefine Fed Res junk as "Mafia Money" and swap it all out for 2A State Militia-backed money or something else that's issued by the Constitutionalist People's club.

I think there'd also be some major house cleaning.

Lobbyists and bankers might get quite annoyed and seek revenge for losing their shirts. Those 2 groups don't hire pitchforks.

I think the biggest holder of US debt is US citizens. Like the money that has been looted from SS, pensions, etc.
