On April 18, 1942, 80 men flew the B-25 on a top secret mission to bomb strategic locations throughout Japan. These brave men would later be known as the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders. On November 9 at 6 p.m. EST in Dayton, Ohio, the surviving four raiders will toast their fallen comrades one last time at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. (1 image)

On November 9 at 6 p.m. EST in Dayton, Ohio, the surviving four raiders will toast their fallen comrades one last time at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.

This event will be held at Wright-Patterson Air Force base in Ohio. These brave men flew B-25s from carrier deck in the Pacific Ocean to bring the war to the home of the Japanese. God bless them all. ;)

Nice ceremony, I enjoyed the historian, Col. Glines, reading the roster of the flight crews for the conclusion of the mission that began back in 1942.

Great story about the original bottle of 1896-vintage Hennessy cognac. First time it's been seen since 1956, when it was presented to General Doolittle for his 60th birthday. I wonder what will happened to the rest of the bottle of Hennessy??
