During a 60 Minutes interview, a SEAL Team 6 member who fired at a subject alleged to be Osama Bin Laden, said that he did not recognize the subject as being Bin Laden.Earlier this year, in response to an open records request, the Pentagon told the Associated Press it could not locate any photographs or video taken during the raid or showing Bin Laden's body. It also said it could not find any images of Bin Laden's body on the Navy aircraft carrier where the al-Qaida leader's body was taken. The Pentagon also said it could not find any death certificate, autopsy report or results of DNA identification tests for Bin Laden.

I always thought that Seal Team 6 was Top Secret.

I distinctly remember that bin Laden had renal failure. This is pretty good if you consider that the meningitis I had messed with my memory. ;)

In the mountains of Tora Bora near the Pakistan Border - as was reported at the time and then later flushed down the "Memory Hole".

Without access to a Dialysis machine he only had limited time. And given the life expectancy of someone his age on dialysis he would, even if he had lived through the earlier episode, likely have been dead before the alleged raid even with regular access to dialysis.

The other possibility though is that he wound up in Israel. One of the very firmly suppressed facts about Bin Laden is that his mother was Jewish (she came from a wealthy Syrian Jewish Family). So, by Talmudic Law, Bin Laden WAS Jewish.
