More recently, when TMZ asked Bradshaw about Phil Robertson's GQ remarks specifically, Bradshaw had this to say - Bradshaw, like Robertson, is ENTITLED to his opinion - this is America, not communist China.

Bradshaw, a fellow devout Christian, tells us ... "I respect Phil's voice but I don't agree with it."

Terry explained, "Phil is a very religious man, and he's taking the scriptures literally ... but the bible also preaches love."

And Phil never said otherwise.

A&E released a statement on Robertson's behalf Wednesday, and while he didn't back down from his stance, he said his comments were meant* to disrespect anyone. "I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior," the statement reads. "My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other."

*I think they left out the word "not." That his comments were NOT meant to disrespect anyone.

What you is quite true. Terry Bradshaw seems to have believed the B.S. spin by mainstream media - i.e. that Robertson's remarks were "hateful."

Robertson's initial remarks and his followup commentary were neither hateful nor loving.

They were one man's OPINIONS, a free expression of his personal beliefs, which are a guaranteed constitutional right in America.

I also support Bradshaw's right to express his opinion, though I disagree with Bradshaw and suspect Bradshaw's comments are a result of misinformation.
