How many of you have.......

Before I drop a name or idea to assess receptiveness, I discern the fortitude of the individual. If one lacks the will to act, there is no point in wasting my time / information.

Most of the livestock I come across in my day to day activities are weak, lazy, cowardly, stupid and / or completely oblivious, with no redeeming qualities. Best to leave them to their own fate.

When someone shows promise (and it does happen, albeit sparingly) I draw them out to see what they already understand, and slowly build upon that.

I could easily teach multiple semester length courses on these subjects, so I'm careful not to overwhelm an open mind.
