Actually I kinda like Vlad's message to the Ruskies better than what Bush2 said to us Americans after 9/11 happened: "hey, just go out and shop and stuff."

Vlad's words are more statesmanlike in a weird sort of way.

I sure hope Der Führer didn't order the boys from Langeley to do dark deeds in Stalingrad (pretending to be Chechens) just to mess with Vlad's self esteem after embarrassing Mr. Big Ears over the Syria thingie. Just sayin'...

Vladimir Putin has vowed to pursue terrorists to their “total annihilation

Just encourages "terrorists" to up the ante. What's needed is for UN to conduct plebiscites to allow for peaceful separation of ethnics but with the sharing of resource and other territorial assets.
