Well, I just got a phone call from someone close to the family and close to me. But, he has been poorly and we are not too surprised. Hopefully, this is just a glitch in his giddy up.

Ruby Ridge was an atrocity committed by our government against peaceful people who just wanted to be left alone. The sniper who shot the wife when she was holding a baby while standing in the doorway of the cabin was horrible. I do not recall just how it all turned out, but it seems to me that they got a huge settlement from the goobs. ;)

Lon Haruchi

Yes, Lon Horiuchi is correct. He was a bum and should have been brought up on charges. Ruby Ridge was in a string of incidents in which FEDGOV violated the rights of innocents, Waco being another. ;)

ruby ridge aftermath -

Both the internal 1994 Ruby Ridge Task Force Report and the public 1995 Senate subcommittee report on Ruby Ridge criticized the rules of engagement as unconstitutional. A 1995 GAO report on use of force by federal law enforcement agencies stated: "In October 1995, Treasury and Justice adopted use of deadly force policies to standardize the various policies their component agencies had adopted over the years." The major change was the requirement of a reasonable belief of an "imminent" danger of death or serious physical injury, which brought all federal LEA deadly force policies in line with US Supreme Court rulings (Tennessee v. Garner, 471 U.S. 1, 18 (1985) and Graham v. Connor, 490 U.S. 386 (1989)) that applied to state and local LE agencies.[62]

The surviving members of the Weaver family filed a wrongful death suit. To avoid trial and a possibly higher settlement, the federal government awarded Randy Weaver a $100,000 settlement and his three daughters $1 million each in August 1995. In the out-of-court settlement, the government did not admit any wrongdoing in the deaths of Sammy and Vicki Weaver.

FBI director Louis Freeh disciplined or proposed discipline for twelve FBI employees over their handling of the incident and the later prosecution of Randy Weaver and Harris. He described the incident before the U.S. Senate hearing investigation as "synonymous with the exaggerated application of federal law enforcement" and stated "law enforcement overreacted at Ruby Ridge."[63]

A CBS miniseries about the Ruby Ridge incident, entitled Ruby Ridge: An American Tragedy, aired on May 19 and May 21, 1996. It was based on the book Every Knee Shall Bow by reporter Jess Walter and starred Laura Dern as Vicki, Kirsten Dunst as Sara, and Randy Quaid as Randy.[2] The TV series was edited together in movie form as The Siege at Ruby Ridge.[64]

FBI HRT sniper Lon Horiuchi was indicted for manslaughter in 1997 by the Boundary County, Idaho, prosecutor just before the statute of limitations for the crime of manslaughter expired, but the trial was removed to federal court and quickly dismissed on grounds of sovereign immunity.

Dear caring friends of Jack McLamb -

This message requires no response, but is sent only to advise of a current situation, and to ask you to join with us in special prayer for Jack, and also for Angie.

Yesterday, Monday morning, Jack collapsed at home while Angie was assisting him in the shower. He was rushed to a hospital in Evansville, Indiana, and as of now, 24 hours later, Jack remains under intensive care. While it took paramedics only 7 minutes to arrive at the home where they administered CPR immediately, it is feared that Jack may have been without oxygen for a few intervening moments, and hence a concern about possible brain damage. Let us all hope and pray not.

Again, all we are asking at this time is for your prayer support. We trust that from within his (totally healthy and wide awake!) inner spirit, Jack will be fully able to receive, appreciate and be blessed by this outpouring of loving support. Thank you, and God bless you each and all for it. We will try to send updates as available.

Lod, a Federal Court panel authorized the Boundary County Prosecutor to prosecute Horiuchi and he declined. That's not to say the FEDS refused to prosecute, they may have refused.

Wednesday Jack McLamb update

Blessed prayer warrior friends........

We apologize for being late today in getting out this update. Jack's wife Angie phoned this morning and advised us of the following: In her words, "things do not look good," since Jack's condition had not improved, and he remains on life support. The last of Jack's 3 sons, and also a younger sister, were expected to arrive in Evansville by this evening, and we trust that by now they have.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the doctors conferred with Angie, and advised her that once the family members had all arrived, they wished to call a meeting to discuss and come to a decision regarding the advisability and possible necessity of removing life support. We expect that meeting to occur tomorrow, Thursday morning. The family had already been in agreement (including Jack's own stated preference quite some time ago) that if and when the body systems fail, no attempts at resuscitation would be made.

So, needless to say, we await a momentous tomorrow, even as we thank you each and all of you for your continuing love and tremendous prayer support. We can't help but feel that, within his inner spirit, Jack must be feeling powerfully buoyed up by such widespread, loving support. Please just keep the prayers coming!

We will report back tomorrow, just as soon as the outcome is known.

Much love and appreciation to all.

Civilians Jack McLamb and Bo Gritz are generally credited with saving the balance of the family from sure death at Ruby Ridge.

I never liked Bo Gritz. I never trusted that guy. My reasons for stating this is that you cannot be working for the FBI and at the same time trying to help get somebody like Weaver and his family some medical attention when Gritz really did was participate in "negotiating" with Randy to waive his constitutional rights. The way one "waives" such rights is by personal consent. Randy did no harm to anybody. He may have "extreme" views as some may refer to them as but so does our own government about us citizens these days. And that is a fact.

Randy was the good guy and Bo worked for a thug government system and including corrupt Louis Freeh that literally defied the constitution.

Of course, must we not forget that Louis Freeh was also involved with Janet Reno who unlawfully authorized the murder of those people in Waco, Texas. Perhaps, Bo was working with Freeh at that time also. But I don't trust people like Gritz who work for a godless and lawless government. Bo, is no hero my opinion at all. He is what I refer to as a soothsayer or a conman.

If anyone here has had any adverse interaction with Bo Gritz, please tell us all about it.

Thanks.

Dear friends of Jack McLamb,

It is with much deep sentiment that we write to advise that our much beloved friend and brother, Jack McLamb, passed away on Saturday, late afternoon, Indiana time. Though he is missed far more than any words can say, all who loved him are grateful to know that Jack is at last freed from the physical disabilities that increasingly plagued him, especially in these past few years. For the blessed relief that has come to him, we certainly have great reason to rejoice.

We now join with Jack's wife, Angie, and all his family in extending our deepest gratitude to each and all of you who, by means of your continuous outpouring of love and prayer, provided such comfort and upliftment, particularly during this past very difficult week - - and we can't help but feel somehow that all of that love and blessing was received personally by Jack as well, on the level of his inner spirit. Now that "Officer Friendly" is once again "back in the greatest of form" himself, be ready to receive the thanks and Blessings he's likely to send you!

A number of memorial services are being planned for Jack, the most immediate one taking place this coming week in SW Indiana. Should anyone be close enough to that area and wish to attend, feel free to contact us, by way of this email address or by calling (208) 935-7852, for further information. Concerning the other memorials to be held, we will advise later on.

Thank you again, and may God richly bless you all.
