By now most people have heard of the "Prepper Movement."

Some are taking it to wild extremes. Here's how one reporter recounted his recent visit to Texas investor Kyle Bass' "home".

"We hopped into his Hummer, decorated with bumper stickers (God Bless Our Troops, Especially Our Snipers) and customized to maximize the amount of fun its owner could have in it: for instance, he could press a button and, James Bond alike, coat the road behind him in giant tacks.

We roared out into the Texas hill country, where, with the fortune he'd made off the subprime crisis, Kyle Bass had purchased what amounted to a fort: a 40,000 sq. ft. ranch house on thousands of acres in the middle of nowhere, with its own water supply, and an arsenal of automatic weapons and sniper rifles and small explosives to equip a battalion."

All over America, there are millions of Americans that are quietly preparing for doomsday. They are turning spare rooms into long-term food storage pantries.

They are planting survival gardens. They are converting their homes over to alternative sources of energy. They are taking self-defense courses and they are stocking up on just about anything you can imagine.

They are called "preppers," and their numbers have absolutely exploded in recent years. Some estimates show these numbers as high as 10 million people that are preparing in some fashion for bad stuff coming.

Of course an economic collapse is one of the biggest concerns for preppers, and without a doubt, the U.S. economy is deeply troubled. A collapse of the financial system would change all of our lives permanently.

But it isn't just preppers that are concerned about these things.

A recent survey conducted by National Geographic asked Americans the following question:

"Which of the following, if any, do you think might happen in the United States in the next 25 years? Please choose all that apply."

Here are the results...

Significant Earthquake 64% Significant Hurricane 63% Terrorist Attack 55% Financial Collapse 51% Significant Blackout 37% Pandemic, Such as From a Super-Virus 29% Nuclear Fallout 14% None of These 13%

So obviously there are large numbers of people that are afraid of SOMETHING really bad happening.

Preparing for perceived hard times is obviously a good idea but are these "preppers" just fringe "nut jobs?"

Not according to my research.

Watch this video of famed author of the "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" book series, Robert Kiyosaki, explaining why he's a prepper.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZAzBDDnhwg

If you haven't seen that video its certainly worth the 8 minutes. He says that he is "prepared for the worst" and that he and his wife "have food, we have water, we have guns, gold and silver, and cash".

Even someone as focused on positivity as Tony Robbins is concerned. Check out this video he did about economic collapse. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzREzgDoaZg

Even real estate mogul Donald Trump is concerned: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzjiW4U4V9g

I could go on and on. The message is clear. It's prudent to make at least minimum preparations to protect you, your family and your money.

In the next email I'll show how simple it can be and won't make you look like a "nut".

Until next email,

Jarrod

P.S. As you can see, MANY very smart mainstream people are concerned, so you should be too. In the next email I'll show you some simple things you can do to not be caught off guard.
