I can remmeber back when they were trying to figure out what additive to put in gasoline to boost the octane. They decided on Tetra-Ethyl Lead because you could not make it in your back yard. This was a conspiracy between Ford and the people who formulated the fuel mixtures, i.e. oil refiners.

This is one of those strangers schemes to me. They have spents gasoline, To produce gasoline, to refine petrol products to supplement the gasoline they have used and IT IS A LEWIS BLACK WTF MOMENT!@!

It makes no rational sense. It doesn't have to I suppose. The ones that are rich can engage in monstrously stupid ideas.

Do you know which fuel costs more to make, gasoline or diesel? The answer is diesel. Why is it higher in cost than gasoline? Because truckers need it. ;)
