I know that a co-polymer produced with high volatiles could 'evaporate' with out odor. (or liquid)

Then locate an MS/GC machine and have it tested.

Let's hope someone with access to it has done that. Seems like a simple procedure to take, but simple doesn't always happen.

The more exposure this gets the better. There should also be some other anomalies, specially in it's 'melting' process. See if it 'melts' readily in a sealed freezer bag at room temp., and the residue left over for one.
