Title: Inquiring minds want to know: Why do so-called American Christians gnash their teeth and wail at the Muslim persecution of Christians in Syria but completely disregard or even cheer the persecution of Christians in Israel? Especially Palestinian Christians.

Just asking. Of course, asking this question makes me an anti-Semite, to which I reply, OK. Now answer the question.

Because hypocrisy is so bred in to their bones that they can no longer recognize it when they see it.

It is second nature.

Know guns, know safety, know liberty. No guns, no safety, no liberty.

Because questioning how Jews treat Christians would undermine their whole neocon mindset and a multi-generational false theology.

"Now then, let me strip down for the fight against the Jews themselves, so that the victory may be more glorious—so that you will learn that they are abominable and lawless and murderous and enemies of God."

(John Chrysostom, Against the Jews; 2)

"[Jews are] Murderers of the Lord, killers of the prophets, enemies and slanderers of God; violators of the law, adversaries of grace, aliens to the faith of their fathers, advocates of the devil, progeny of poison snakes, . . . whose minds are held in darkness, filled with the anger of the Pharisees, a sanhedrin of satans. Criminals, degenerates, . . . enemies of all that is decent and beautiful. They are guilty of shouting: Away with him, away with him. Crucify him. He who was God in the flesh!"

(Gregory of Nyssa, In Christi Resurrectionem, in Patrologiae, Cursus Completus, Graeca, ed. J. P. Migne, [Paris 1863], 46:685–86, quoted in Robert Michael, A History of Catholic Antisemitism: The Dark Side of the Church [USA: Palgrave Macmillan, 2008], 26.)

Agreed. They only care about Middle Eastern Christians when they are being persecuted by Muslims. Just like they only care about the military when they are killing Muslims. When it comes to the Jews though they turn their backs on both. Perfect examples are Palestinian and Arab Christians in Israel and the USS Liberty.

I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT!
Any perceived compliance with unconstitutional “laws” or orders put forth by government employees is NOT recognition of their authority; it is simply the result of carefully calculated submission to an entity exhibiting superior firepower.
