Napolitano: Impeachment Only Way to Stop Obama's Executive Actions

The only way to stop President Barack Obama from nullifying duly enacted laws is impeachment, says Judge Andrew Napolitano. The problem is, neither Congress nor the American public have the guts for it.

"The president is doing the opposite of what he was elected to do," Napolitano said Thursday on Fox News Channel's "Your World with Neil Cavuto." Napolitano is a former New Jersey Superior Court judge and a Fox News legal analyst.

When Obama picks and chooses which laws, or portions of them, to enforce, he actually is telling people how to avoid obeying the law, he told Cavuto.

"At some point he is totally frustrating what Congress has written," Napolitano said. Republicans have accused Obama of using his executive powers improperly to delay portions of his own healthcare law for political expediency. They also say he has used those powers to enact gun control and immigration rules.

Napolitano said there are 11 million people in the United States who could be deported to their native countries, but Obama has told them, "If you do A, B, C, D, and E, I won't deport you" — effectively telling them they can break the law and suffer no consequences.

Faced with a Republican-controlled House of Representatives and fear of losing the Senate over the unpopularity of Obamacare, the president vowed in January to take more executive action.

Though Sen. Rand Paul sued Obama this week over NSA surveillance, Napolitano said a lawsuit over Obama's executive actions would be tossed out of court. A judge would tell any member of Congress bringing such a suit to instead begin impeachment proceedings.

But that won't happen, Napolitano added.

"There's sort or a cult around him in the Democratic Party that he's 'our guy' and he can do whatever he wants." he said.

It's so very nice of the Judge to be vocal about Obozo but honestly, It'd do a lot more good to expose the fact that EVERY_FUCKING_THING FEDERAL is shit. Pure shit.

Americans can't expect CONgress or the Courts to do anything to nig-gate the Homo-In-Chief's Executive Authority, only the American people can do that. Americans vote for change that they never get, and for people that are so compromised and narcissistic that the only optin they have is to sell the voters out to their communist masters.

When the working class stiff remembers that it is he that makes the world go around and not these puffed up pussies in D.C., then just maybe the country can get back to semi-normal.

I think the congress are actually Real-Estate Salespeople. They're too busy selling the country to China to have any positive effect upon Americans. I think the fact that we laugh at the Indians over the way New York was purchased for some bobbles and beads compared to today's bargain basement discount giveaway of the whole fucking country is more than hilarious.

Doesn't anyone get it, yet ? The nation is being sold off through debt obligations of all sorts that are IN FACT purely virtual. They don't exist and never should have existed. Aside from its military prowess, America looks like a drunken girly-boy staggering down a very dark alley being followed by a Chinese gang with nothing good in mind for their prey. And, D.C. [District of China] is being managed by the Synagogue of Satan through the international shylocks that reside in the worldwide central banking cancer eating the body politic alive.

America was once great because America was (pretty) good. That America has been flushed down the D.C. shitter and all that's left to do is wipe our asses out.
