I went up to the VA campus to use their walking track right after sunset yesterday: it was still 70* at 6:30PM and I was wearing shorts. Cold front came in last night and temp has been dropping all day, it was already 23* when I got up at 7:30 this morning. It's been sleeting/snowing ever since late morning, thank goodness the warm ground has inhibited too much accumulation. I'm tired of Winter!!

Yep - just back from the grocer and truck thermometer said 28 and falling...maybe this is the last of it this year.

I hope.

We got hit with another 4-6" of snow over freezing rain last night. I think this is the 14th weekend in a row we've gotten snow. Fortunately me & Marla made it home before it got too bad. We've been stranded in the house all day.

Sounds like a good day to be "stranded in the house" with a friend!

It's a wonderful day for board games and baking bread. Enjoy!

It was. The only thing I got done today was a load of laundry, blowing snow in the drive and alley and cooking. We watched the race at Phoenix this afternoon and napped.
