Most interesting - thanks.

Does he have a presentation on why Linux is better than OS X?

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

I don't know. I suspect, though I don't know that either, that he probably has never used Mac. I haven't so I couldn't say that Linux is better than Mac but (to me) Linux is far better than Windows. And it's like he says toward the end of his presentation, I don't say that no one should use Windows. If they are satisfied with it and it does what they want it to do, that's fine. I just try to tell folks who are open minded about it that there is something better.

Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.

I've come to believe that most anything is better than Windows.

I've come to believe that most anything is better than Windows.

A conclusion I reached around the year 2000 when I got my first computer, the damnable and unlamented Windows ME. The alleged operating system that could both suck and blow at the same time.
