Resistance See other Resistance Articles Title: Shocking Russian Report Labels GMO Foods “Bio-Warfare Weapon” A shocking report prepared by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev privately explaining his decision today to postpone the introduction of certifying genetically-modified seeds (GMO) for another three years in the Russian Federation warns that these “artificial” organisms are now showing “compelling evidence” of their being related to “bio-warfare agents” due to their “catastrophic effect” upon human health rather than their being able to be consumed as food. According to this report, Medvedev was “compelled” to sign his September, 2013 decree introducing the certification of GMO seeds due to the complex process of Russia ascending into the World Trade Organization (WTO), but which in his public statement today he asserted: “This decree done on my initiative will be corrected and we will postpone the date of introducing the certification for three years, because we're simply not ready, but even if the certification appears in three years or at another time, this doesn't mean that we will allow the use of genetically-modified material.” This report further states that Medvedev’s decision was based upon research done by Doctor-Scientist Irina Ermakova who is vice president of Russia’s National Association for Genetic Safety (NAGS) and who this past December (2013) warned, “It has been proved that not only in Russia, but also in many other countries in the world, GMO is dangerous.” Important to note is that after Dr. Ermakova’s December warning, Medevdev stated that Russia will not import GMO products and said, “If the Americans like to eat GMO products, let them eat it then. We don’t need to do that; we have enough space and opportunities to produce organic food.” Critical to note about Dr. Ermakova is that her over decade research into GMO seeds showed that one of the techniques used in creating them involved putting into them tumor-causing soil bacteria, about which she warned, “Consumption and use of GMOs obtained in such way can lead to tumors, cancers and obesity among animals.” Dr. Ermakova’s GMO research, this report says, was confirmed by French scientist Gilles-Eric Séralini, one of the worlds top molecular biologists at the University of Caen, whose longest running safety study results showed “severe adverse health effects, including mammary tumors and kidney and liver damage, leading to premature death” from Roundup-Ready corn and Roundup herbicide, whether they were consumed separately or together. Both Dr. Ermakova and Séralini, this report continues, have had their heretofore stellar scientific reputations “smeared” in the West for their daring to stand up to and publish the truth about GMO’s whose giant corporations are supported by the Obama regime, and whose leader, President Barack Obama, last March (2013) signed a law called the “Monsanto Protection Act” forbidding the American people from suing the makers of these deadly seeds and foods. Most stunning in this report, however, is Dr. Ermakova’s research linking GMO seeds and foods to the epidemic of mental illness and obesity in the United States due to what is called the Candida Albicans fungal yeast overgrowth. There are numerous foods that can exacerbate the Candida Albicans overgrowth problem, the US-based Natural Society newsletter confirms, namely, exposure to excessive pesticides and herbicides (as in GMO foods produced by Monsanto, Bayer and other corporations), refined sugar, antibiotics (because they disrupt balanced gut flora), fast foods, and many “convenience foods” stocked at grocery stores, processed carbohydrates or refined carbohydrates also turn into sugar quickly in the body, so they can cause Candida overgrowth as well. Going from the mere stunning to the truly shocking, this report continues, studies in both the US and Holland earlier last decade confirmed the catastrophic effect GMO foods are having upon school children, and as we can read from one of them: “We are just beginning to understand the influence of food on behavior. A study in Science in December 2002 concluded that “food molecules act like hormones, regulating body functioning and triggering cell division. The molecules can cause mental imbalances ranging from attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorder to serious mental illness.” The problem is we do not know which food molecules have what effect. The bigger problem is that the composition of GM foods can change radically without our knowledge. Genetically modified foods have genes inserted into their DNA. But genes are not Legos; they don’t just snap into place. Gene insertion creates unpredicted, irreversible changes. In one study, for example, a gene chip monitored the DNA before and after a single foreign gene was inserted. As much as 5 percent of the DNA’s genes changed the amount of protein they were producing. Not only is that huge in itself, but these changes can multiply through complex interactions down the line.” With nearly 35% of the American people reported to be obese and a further 20% being reported as having a mental illness, this report concludes, the “extreme correlation” between these health epidemics and the rise of GMO foods can no longer be ignored…but by the Obama regime not only ignoring them, and actually protecting GMO corporations…it is “logical to assume” that these peoples are undergoing what is, perhaps, the largest bio-warfare experiment ever conducted in human history. And to further note, the United States, unlike some 60 other countries, lacks a legal requirement to label GMO’s despite a recent New York Times poll that found that 93% of Americans want GMO food to be labeled, all of which leads to the question…WHY? Of course labeling will not be allowed in the USA because a high percent of the public would purchase non GMO food even at a considerable higher price which would hurt the bottom line of the big food corporations.
