It is unusual for the agency to carry direct quotes from Kim. "Of course, they might do sideline jobs for improving service personnel's living conditions and do their bit in building a rich and powerful nation. "However, they should always give priority to combat preparations", he said. Speaking in Seoul on Friday after satellite imagery revealed the North was advancing preparations for a nuclear test, Obama warned it of sanctions with "more bite" unless it fell into line. North Korea has conducted three nuclear tests, in 2006, 2009 and 2013. Underlining its status as global outlaw, Pyongyang said late Friday that it had been holding US citizen Miller Matthew Todd, 24, since April 10 because of his "rash behaviour" while passing through immigration. Quigley is now dead, and at age 66. I wondered how much influence he had on Bill Clinton. I found this on Wikipedia: Influence on Bill Clinton[edit] In his freshman year in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown, future U.S. President Bill Clinton took Quigley's course, receiving a 'B' as his final grade in both semesters (an excellent grade in a course where nearly half the students received D or lower).[2]:94, 96 Clinton named Quigley as an important influence on his aspirations and political philosophy in 1991, when launching his presidential campaign in a speech at Georgetown.[2]:96 He also mentioned Quigley again during his acceptance speech to the 1992 Democratic National Convention, as follows: As a teenager, I heard John Kennedy's summons to citizenship.
