Most of us know honey as a sweet treat, but few are aware of its powerful cancer killing properties.

Honey is a superlative healing food. We know it has over 69 health benefits, as confirmed by the biomedical literature itself. But did you know it could be of profound benefit in diseases as life threatening and seemingly incurable as cancer?

Indeed, a recent study published the journal Molecules looked at the role of honey in positively impacting the development and progression of tumors or cancers. The review identified the presence of flavonoids and phenolic acids in honey as the primary anti-cancer compounds involved in its beneficial properties.

According to the study, flavonoids are biologically active natural compounds with a 15-carbon (C6-C3-C6) structure, comprising two benzene rings joined by a heterocyclic pyrane ring, with honey containing the following:

Chrysin

Kaempeferol

Quercetin

Pinobanksin

Pinocembrin

Luteolin

Apigenin

Hesperetin

Naringenin

Genistein

Interestingly, many of these flavonoids are classified as phytoestrogens, which are phytochemicals structurally similar to mammalian estrogens and therefore can bind to estrogen receptors. While many of these honey-derived flavonoids have been demonstrated to have both inhibitory and stimulatory effects, the vast majority of the cell (in vitro) and animal (in vivo) studies have demonstrated the anti-breast and estrogen sensitive cancer properties of these compounds, indicating that flavonoid rich honeys are likely to positively influence estrogenic activity in estrogen-receptor positive cancers.

That's interesting because I ran across my honey and cinnamon cures article I had printed, which said honey and cinnamon could cure cancer, and because honey is a sugar, and sugar feeds cancer I wondered if this were true. Later I ran across an article from cancertutor.com and they know sugar feeds cancer and they also were touting it as a curative agent, maybe not by itself, but curative nevertheless. The cancer may get a double whammy with the combination because the cancer cells go for the sugar and get a nasty dose of cinnamon as well... And you are right about the honey, and it should be raw. I have been buying raw neem honey from Trader Joe's, because it's harvested by climbing the tree for it, rather than cutting it down. Also, neem is an antimicrobial, and natural pesticide, and I thought perhaps those properties might be in the honey. It tastes a little different, but I like it.

Cinnamon plus vitamin D3 controls Type II diabetes sugar levels. It also boosts the immune system. Better for cancer is Baking Soda. Take only 2 hours after dinner. It turns the blood to base pH reading. It also cures fungus. Go to Google and enter Mark Sircus Baking Soda into the search box.

Thank you. I am most concerned about the diabetes because it runs in the family, and I haven't been tested because I don't want to be tracked, but suspect I have it. I knew about the cinnamon and think I had heard about the D too, but thank you for putting them together for me. I have so many health articles and so much going on and so little time to think I can't seem to get it all straight. I am going to have to write myself a list and post it to the refrigerator. We have a friend with diabetes who is suffering serious complications and I decided I should get a little more serious about it. Started taking cayenne and lemon as a detox and because cayenne is good for just about everything. I left out the maple syrup because of the sugar. Also started juicing and it really has helped in getting me away from the junk and from even wanting it. It also seems to tame the constant hunger which is a symptom of diabetes, so maybe it is already starting to help. Now if I could just bring myself to drink more water. I am going to do the cinnamon and vitamin D3 and magnesium.

Better for cancer is Baking Soda. Take only 2 hours after dinner. It turns the blood to base pH reading. It also cures fungus.

Thanks again. I knew about the Baking Soda [I have read about the Italian doctor Simoncini], but not when to take it. I had a bump turn up on my forehead and am not too concerned but started taking 1/2 tsp. of baking soda in water first thing in the morning and before bed. My pH has been running too acid for close to a year I think so God knows what else is going on. I just lackadaisically started doing something about it. But with my pea brain and everything else going on I do something for a few days and then forget.

I just did a search because I couldn't remember how to spell Simoncini's name, and ran across two articles that may be of interest to folks. I learned something new. Dr. Simoncini said the articles about boiling the maple syrup and baking soda together were a hoax and inactivated the baking soda. I am very sorry to hear that, because I have passed this link along: phkillscancer.

. I would be real cautious about this, though:

"If one has a very serious cancer problem, use the one tsp honey-one teaspoon soda mixture as often each day as your body can stand to kill the massive Candida population. There are no harmful side effects from using sodium bicarbonate other than diarrhea."

I have read 2 tsp. per day is the MAXIMUM you can take safely and once your pH gets to 8 if it stays there too long you could die. I'd research that one before I tried it. And I would get some pH strips that read up to pH8. You might have to order them.

The above article led to this one, which is still not the original one containing Simoncini's detailed explanation of the mechanics of baking soda and cancer, but I had not seen it before, and think people should send it far and wide! Baking soda is a simple fix and big money doesn't want us to know that. They'd rather use little kids to tear your heart out to get donations, then poison, slash and burn them to suck dollars out of the system, and leave them so devastated physically they succumb then or years down the road from the "treatment". Hope there is a special place in hell.
