People are mobilizing to protect Net Neutrality! The People’s Firewall is now in place in front of the FCC in Washington DC and they will stay there until the FCC hearings scheduled for May 15. If you are in DC please join them! The FCC is located at 445 12th Street Washington, DC 20554.

An Open Letter from Mozilla: Google, Netflix, Amazon, Facebook, Twitter and nearly 150 other tech companies have launched a protest of their own against the new proposed FCC regulations. Silicon Valley sent a letter to the FCC this week demanding an open Internet.

What good does that do. They might win now but the FCC will just come back next year and keep coming back until there is little or no protesting.

That is how governments and their agencies win. Once they get what they want, it is forever. However, if the lose, it is shortterm as they keep bringing up the issue.
