BEIJING, May 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Beijing Tiertime Technology, a leader in rapid prototyping and the 3D printing industry in China, will unveil a new consumer-grade 3D printer at this year's Beijing Fair, the Beijing Morning Post reported.
The family version printer, the size of a coffeemaker, is highly affordable, costing only around 6,000 yuan (US$968).
Tiertime will attend the 3rd Digital Content Business Convention to be held on May 30 in Beijing during the 3rd China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
More new technologies, new products and new platform services will be displayed at the convention, which is an important part of the CIFTIS's digital content sector, according to the convention's host the Zhongguancun Digital Content Industries Association.
Renowned enterprises, including Google, the CCTV Animation Channel, New Oriental and China Broadcast Corporation, will seek business opportunities during the convention.
