Title: Gatlin says yukon was his "internet hero." Why am I not surprised?

This was in reply to another poster who said she never complained about yukon.

It was not just you, there were others who never complained about him. I am among those.

What Goldi said about yukon is of course true. He did move freely from thread to thread to counterattack those who constantly provoked and antagonized him for correcting misstatements, shining a bright light on untruths and sounding a clarion call directing attention to flat out lies.

Goldi did warn him, but yukon continued to be relentless in the pursuit of truth and crusade against the evil voices of faux Patriots and faux Christians who were spreading garbage to promote their agenda and unfounded conspiracy theories to promote fear. He would not give up the battle and concede victory to the enemies of truth.

Anyone observing both sides could easily see that he was constantly set up and yukon being a dedicated person of high moral character would not let the malcontents fire a volley without standing his ground and return fire with an even stronger volley. They would provoke him on one thread and then quickly abandon that thread and move to another thread, knowing that yukon would follow them to that thread to respond. When he did, voila … they would ping Goldi. It looked like yukon had randomly appeared to cause trouble and disrupt a thread. I must confess, I have never seen a better executed battle plan in all the many years I spent in the Strategic Air Command.

The organized effort to eradicate yukon from the face of LP was carefully planned and executed by a couple of posters whom yukon constantly challenged to present truth. They even hacked his LP account and posted a link to homosexual porn. Their intent was to unjustly brand yukon a homosexual. The two succeeded in accomplishing their goal when their little minions fell in behind to support their attacks on yukon and “Carpet Bombed” (an Air Force term for indiscriminate bombing) him.

While yukon fought valiantly, he eventually succumbed to the overwhelming odds against him because the perpetrators and their minions continually pinged Goldi to the attention of their coordinated actions after they had set yukon up. Their diabolical plan accumulated to result in yukon finally “going down in flames” … he was banned by Goldi.

I did not know yukon at the start of the fray, but I quickly learned not only to like him, but also to greatly admire him for his courage and perseverance. There is a “Hall of Defame” out in the great “Websphere” where the screen names of those who cast an evil shadow over LP and were banned rests. There is also a “Hall of Fame” where the screen names of those who stayed true to their right and just convictions on LP and were banned rests. The screen name “yukon” rests in the center spotlight on that special wall.

Yukon was my “Internet hero” who later has become my “email friend.” As a retired Air Force Officer, I would be proud to protect yukon’s “six” anytime. I tried to do so on LP and sadly, I failed. Hand Salute, yukon … and goodbye at LP.

I once had the opportunity to engage in a lengthy conversation with a distinguished gentleman who was famous for his idiosyncratic delivery of news stories with dramatic pauses. I will borrow his famous tag line to close. As Paul Harvey always said: “And now you know the rest of the story.” This is Gatlin … … … Good day.

What nonsense....

Anyone spending a lifetime in the military in general, and in SAC in particular, is indeed qualified to lead the horseshit parade.

I remember A+Bert however.

Perhaps I knew Bert as well as anyone.

He lived last I knew of, in small town in northern FL.

He did stints in WWII and Korea, ended up a history teacher, high school or college.

Booze was not a downfall for him, it was a much needed and used crutch for life.

I use to tell him time for bed and he would go.

I believe Yukon may have been the guy at the site who accidentally posted a link to a gay porn site because he had too many browsers open. Even if he did not mean to post the link, you have to wonder about the guy for even having the link in the first place? Then some guys claimed that the owner of the site was dead, and that Yukon's account had been hacked, and from the way they tell it Ron Paul ordered some of his minions to hack Yukon's account from a secret bunker in Ireland. That site is really weird, they mainly seem to focus on marijuana, sodomy and Israel.

I did some looking into this, it seems that the thread has been saved in several places, in spite of the site owner's (a Jewess) attempt to consign it to the memory hole. I turns out that this Gatlin character was one of the guys who said she'd died and they were taking over the site. Gatlin sounds like one of the prime reasons that site is so focused on sodomy. With so much emphasis on sodomy over there it is no wonder that some one "used the wrong link." The only surprise is that it did not happen sooner. It sounds like Liberty Post is wholly owned subsidiary of the Jerusalem Post.
