This group included aliens convicted of hundreds of violent and serious crimes, including homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, and aggravated assault, CIS said in a summary of its findings. The list of crimes also includes more than 16,000 drunk or drugged driving convictions. The vast majority of these releases from ICE custody were discretionary, not required by law (in fact, in some instances, apparently contrary to law), nor the result of local sanctuary policies. America's Most Important Day of 2014? On Tuesday July 1st, 2014, a new law (part of HR Bill #2847) goes into effect in America. On the surface, it looks like just another tax lawbut it actually has huge implications far beyond the tax code. This law actually changes our entire financial system
overnight. Even the normally liberal Atlantic Monthly magazine said it "seems to be turning into a nightmare and disaster." Yet 99% of Americans have no idea what is about to happen. Make sure you get the facts and protect yourself. Details here
Since news of these releases broke, the White House and, notably, President Obama himself (these releases could not have happened without his approval as head of the Executive Branch bureaucracies), have remained largely silent. It seems that the administration doesnt want to answer any questions about its motivation for releasing foreign-born illegal alien criminals into our cities. But there are some questions that must be posed to the administration nonetheless, and if the mainstream media were far less ideologically inclined to give the president a pass for this outrageous transgression, they would ask them repeatedly until given an adequate answer. 1. How many other criminal aliens have been released since the president first took office in 2009? The CIS report only covered 2013 because that is the only year that such data have been made available. But if anything, the Obama administration has been opaque about many of its policies and inner-workings, and we know that the release of dangerous aliens by the federal government has been taking place for years. Sure, cut the aliens sentence instead! 2. What was the justification criteria for releasing these criminal aliens? The White House needs to clarify, in much more detail, how many releases were ordered by the courts, which courts ordered the releases and why, and how many, if any, were done by presidential fiat. 3. Where were these criminal aliens released? We have online databases for sexual offenders and those who commit crimes against children so families and neighborhoods can find out if they are living near one, but for some reason criminal aliens seem to be a protected class. The public has an interest, to say the least, in knowing when these releases took place and, importantly, where. This information should be accompanied by the crime for which the alien was convicted.
