I remember her posting here. I wondered what had happened to her, along with some others.

My friend's in a better place now.

See'ya soon enough, Dee.

Burn out, olde age, illness, money issues...they're all hitting our demographic. Not to mention the newer social media options, which blow hard IMO.

Sad. She always had such good, no nonsense, common sense posts. A very bright woman.

Brit "conservatives" are more like Bush than Clinton. That doesn't make them any less of a bunch of socialists. This sir Denis asshole sounds like a pissant. I can't stand upper class Brits. Come to think of it, I can't stand Brits, period. Maggie Thatcher pretty well ran US foreign policy while Wobbly was prez. She's as much to blame for "desert storm" as Wobbly is.

To hell with her. I'll yawn when she dies, too.

Twodees (the old no holds barred grump)--boy, does that bring back memories.

Sadly, Rowdee left 4um under bad circumstances. I have always felt badly about it. We did correspond some in email shortly after. She was one of my best FR and FU friends.

;)

Rest in peace brother

Let's say that it was personality conflicts, and leave it at that. OK?

This is sad news. I talked to Dee on the FU board not too long before Bret shut it down.

Well, that is something I couldn't tell you because I don't know. I don't even know how to get in touch with him anymore but I hope he is doing ok.

I just sent a link of this thread to Bret and Ross at the last email I had for them - about 8 or 9 years ago.

Upon reflection, I wonder if Murron is still doing well. She has a temper like...[fill in the blank]...

Dee was one of my best friends on the innertubes. She was definitely a treasure and an all around great human being. She was one of few people I knew who could truly love the sinner, even while chewing their ass. You will be greatly missed, Lady.
