It's small... cuddly... downright adorable...

... and it could wipe out you, your family, and everyone else in your neighborhood before touching off a pandemic and widespread social chaos and collapse.

I'm talking about (of course) baby chicks.

"Wait, what?"

It sounds silly, but reality may not be far off if you're watching the warning signs like those we cover in our free survival guide here.

You see, a hatchery in Ohio recently sold a batch of chicks that were contaminated with salmonella (a disease you can also get from handling poultry) and is now affecting people in 23 states, according to the CDC - and joins nearly 2,200 infections in our past.

We've already know how viruses and infections can spread like wildfire throughout our country as was seen even just recently with a vast influenza outbreak.

Survival Tips

In the fun world of viruses and bacteria, all it takes is a couple of mutations for something BAD to become something WORSE.

Even the World Health Organization concedes...

There was an outbreak of Salmonella in Chicago once. It was traced back to the milk at Jewel Food Stores. The joke going around was that Sammy Davis, Jr. and Ella Fitzgerald were going to buy out Jewel Tea and rename it, "Sam and Ella's". ROTFLOL!
