(s)Elections See other (s)Elections Articles Title: Open Letter to the Congress of the United States. From Senior Chief Ross USN (Ret) Dear Members of Congress, It is time for you all to go. Clean out your cubicles. Pick up your lap tops and I- pads with your palm tree and lily pad screen savers and step aside. We the American people are no longer going to fight your illegal wars or sit idly by while you let Obama, the long legged Mack daddy, walk all over you. . We will no longer invade foreign nations under the smurf hat of the United Nations or liberate anymore Muslim countries from their own miss-giving’s and encumbrances. We are done. Effective immediately before any member of the US armed forces parachutes into another sovereign country, the nation we are invading must have (1) Threatened the United States and or launched attacks on us (2) Tried to invade the United States (3) Killed Americans. War is only to be declared by the new Congress. Ref: Article 2 Section 8 of the US Constitution. In our history this would cover (a) World War II when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. (b) Afghanistan when al Qaida attacked New York. We should have decimated (Tehran) when the Iranian students took our boys and girls captive in the US Embassy in 1979. But then again maybe we would have been left alone if we stayed out of Iranian affairs as directed by the Constitution. What you don’t hear about is that the US Embassy in Pakistan was also over run 3 weeks after the American Embassy in Iran in 1979 and several Americans were killed. The domino effect. Assistance was asked for by the station chief but Jimmy Carter was peeling peanuts in his antique bath tub soaking in EPA approved bath bubbles in some obscure part of Georgia. A Marine was killed and an Air force Intel guy was beaten to death with a golf club while the US Embassy burned in Pakistan. Over 6o American vehicles in the embassy were burned and/or looted and/or stolen by Islamic rebels. Just like today in Iraq. History repeats itself. And don’t give me this crap about Saudi Arabia not wanting to help us liberate Kuwait. They provided air cover for the Pakistani military when Pakistan was at war with India in 1971. The Saudis wanted our blood to run in the sands not theirs. Even Osama Bin Laden offered the Saudis his Mujahedeen fighters to clear out the Iraqis from Kuwait but no……. the United Nations had to take charge. Americans had to die and for what ? So in the words of George Washington. “The great rule of conduct for us, in regard to foreign nations, is, in extending our commercial relations, to have with them as little political connection as possible. So far as we have already formed engagements, let them be fulfilled with perfect good faith. Here let us stop.” SEALs, George Washington. 1776 So back to you Mr. and Mrs. Congressman. New rule. All the sons and daughters of US Senators and Congressman age 17 or older will be conscripted first when the next war is declared and put through boot camp /OCS. I recruited SEALs, pilots, NFO’s and Intelligence Officers as an Officer Programs Recruiter for 4 years in New Mexico. I can start the paperwork for you guys now if you want. Your family members can join us for the next war so long as it is legal and constitutional. Unlike the invasion of Iraq twice, the bombing of Bosnia, the so called liberation of Kuwait, the bombing of Libya and the arming of Al Qaida forces in Syria and Libya. . We do not give a rats ass if people like Saddam Hussein choose to invade neighboring Muslim lands if it does not threaten the United States. Let them go at it. Do not fund them, do not help them and do not whimper like spoilt brats if we send in your kids first Mr. Congressman. If you decide to play in their sand box again we will stay home and watch it all unfold on Fox News. Remember this. The founding fathers also restricted congress from sending foreign aid to any foreign nation thereby entangling the United States government in alliances in which it is not to be involved. This would include the United Nations. The UN is funded unconstitutionally. Mr. Congress, it’s time to defund it and shut it down. A vote in the UN means nothing. Its New World Order horse crap. Our allegiance is to the United States the Constitution and our borders not the sand sucking camel humper’s of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world. Let them create their own Constitution. Our only incurred cost for foreign aid should be postage as we mail these people copies of our Constitution as a reference. The president has a constitutional duty Mr. congressman, to receive ambassadors and ministers from foreign nations. That was the extent to which the founders desired government involvement with foreign countries. Not carpet bombing Bosnia to help ragheads decimate Christians or liberating Kuwaitis from their Muslim neighbors. Not bombing Libya without Congressional approval. The result of American government interference in foreign affairs, especially the Middle East, is continued death and destruction. STOP IT !! Now as of today, June 15th 2014 there is evidence that Kuwaiti financial donors have backed ISIS rebels who have committed atrocities and who are either directly linked to al-Qa’ida or cooperate with its affiliated brigades on the ground in Iraq. Our so called friends in Kuwait whom we liberated in 1990-1991 are now funding ISIS as they now march across Iraq killing and looting and driving our Humvees. Great. Why did we liberate these ass-wipes in 1991 ? Well that about sums it up. Mr. Congress its time for all to go. We can find better qualified people to run this Republic in the white pages of the Okaloosa County phone book. In fact I am pretty sure the gibbons at the Gulf Breeze Zoo could be more efficient. On a side note, I understand Mr. Congressman that Obamacare has restricted the supply of Viagra at the Congressional pharmacy to one pill per month. So sad to hear. Try duct tape and a popsicle stick. Oh, and I want all members of Congress drug tested monthly . Just like members of the Armed Forces. Maybe my do nothing Congressman can write the bill as he parades across Fox News during this election year. You don’t hear a peep out of him until it’s Ground Hog Day or an election is due. He’s the same guy who voted to decimate the pensions of the veterans sitting in wheel chairs with no arms and legs. Have a great evening.
