Imagine the following scenario.

It is mid-afternoon on the Wednesday just before Thanksgiving. Some jerk walks into the Atlanta airport, gets his boarding pass and makes his way to the mini-North Korea known as TSA. He hands the blueshirt his boarding pass and driver’s license. He then reaches into his carry-on bag, presses a button and – KABOOOOOOM!!!!!! – kills 2000 people.

A government that will force you to prove your innocence is infinitely more dangerous than any drug or terrorist.

Amen and thanks for the excellent essay.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

Excellent article my friend. I asked one of the gestapo, or gestapoettes (a woman) how many terrorists, within one, the TSA had ever caught. She said she didn’t know but I could “ax” her supervisor. She motioned to him, he came over and I asked him the same question. And he said, “That’s all we do every day.” And I told him, “You have never caught even one, that is why I phrased the question the way I did.” I don’t think they liked me much but that was ok. I don’t particularly enjoy having my rights violated just because I want to go somewhere on a plane.

Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends. Paul Craig Roberts

Can't wait until healthcare is totally under the thumb of these same geniuses.
