Monday on Fox News Channel's "America's Newsroom," the VP of the Border Patrol Union, Chris Cabrea told host Martha MacCallum "a lot of our guys" are coming down with diseases. "Coming off the long journey they have been subjected to and then diseases some agents are contracting. We had one get bacterial pneumonia a couple days ago," Cabrea said. "A lot of our guys are coming down with scabies or lice." Cabrea added: "The border patrol is trying to play catch up and we're having a lot of diseases coming in and some we haven't seen in decades and we are worried they'll spread throughout the United States especially if they are being released and have the disease."

Someone said that the diseases were the reason that buckie wasn't allowed to visit the border...pity.

Like I said in another thread, insurance plans have a cap on treating these diseases. American parents will go ballistic when Little Julio gives incurable TB to the whole damn school in a few weeks.

Border Control agents are unionized. Surely babysitting illegals and contracting illegals' diseases are not in the border control agents' job descriptions. Why don't they contact their union bosses and complain? The changes to their job tasks must violate the union contracts with FedGov, no? At what point are they legally entitled to walk off their jobs?

LOL, the last thing any union wants is a skilled, competent workforce. Good workers are always in demand. Unions are there to level the playing field, make sure the lazy, the surly, the downright moronic are able to extort from society what they are unable to earn, with a nice kickback going to union leadership.

What you say may be true for many unionized jobs. But these border agents are getting infected by dangerous diseases as they are being ordered to babysit these Third World minors. Even the laziest dim bulb border agent must realize that his job description didn't name these duties as being part of the job and that his life and the lives of his loved ones are being put at risk due to the policies of the Obama Administration. Border control agents have a powerful recourse - their union - Obama and the Dem Party are beholden to unions. Just sayin...
