Neither do I.

I was young and stupid in 1948 when Congress passed a peacetime draft bill. Never gave it a thought, no war, who cares.

That changed in a hurry, reality trumps day dreaming. A bombs be damned we were in a hot land war overnight. Bodies were needed.

IMO, my grandsons greatest threat will be the collapse of the economy, coupled with, or preceded by, a domestic attack that will send us all back to the stone age. In that sense living in this valley has enormous benefits for the time being at least.

I will put odds on a massive land war, most likely in Asia.

This government years ago conceded the fact that this economy will collapse. A land war will forestall it.

Iron control of the masses will be needed and is in place now.
