WOW.... I was a freshman in HS when he died and his music, and that of other 'soul singers', is what I grew up with. The country was in a better place back then in so many ways.

Great tunes!! Yes, Sam Cooke/Otis Redding, they aren't making that kind of music (that's easily accessible, anyway) these days. I'll get back to posting tunes in the near future!!

Without a doubt Janis's version is the best! Earlier I watched Christina Aguilera destroy Etta James's At Last it was sad. I still think Janis' version is the best, but this is cool.
