Riots are have erupted with hundreds of protesters gathering at a suburban St. Louis police station on Monday demanding murder charges against an officer who shot to death an unarmed black teenager over the weekend. Looting just went nuts like the ’60s. While this is being painted as a race issue, there is yet another issue that is not being addressed – that is the militarization of the civil police forces around the country. Ever since 911, there has been a trend moving toward much harsher local police. Here is a photo of how the Boston Police have militarized to the point it looks like war against the people. Even small towns are geared up for war. The small town of Medford, Oregon with a population of 76,462 has spent millions of dollars to militarize their police. They have their own Swat Teams, yet no incident in history of some major shooting of such a nature to warrant a Swat Team. The entire reason where there was the Second Amendment was to eliminate this very threat of standing armies. We are seeing the abuse of force at every level. Medford Police bought a new vehicle that some say could survive a so- called the apocalypse. They used their Swat Team to go after a mere carjacker. Medford, New Jersey with a population of just 23,033 also has a Swat Team. They rushed in and held two white kids on the ground at gun-point for shooting potatoes into a lake setting hair spray as the propellant. The whole thing about standing armies has been their historical use out of boredom. It is a shame to pay for something and then not use it. Police use to be friendly as shown in Normal Rockwell’s classic painting. Sure there are a few good souls still left. But the attitudes have shifted to being just mean and nasty as they look at the civilian population as evil. This is a problem that is brewing and is extremely dangerous to say the least. Examples of police abuse are all over the internet. There has been a loss of respect for the people and there seems to be no way to reverse this process. PepperSpray-NYC They sprayed protesters in the eyes during Occupy Wall Street movements everywhere. The conduct has been outrageous. This killing of this black teen is not simply racism. The problems are much deeper. Claiming this is just racism deflects the entire issue and makes it simply black-v-white. This is something far more serious for it is impacting our entire society. The protests over land was yet another example. The police showed up with weapons and told the people they would shoot to kill. The police are being transformed from protecting the public into protecting government from the public. Most do not even see what transformation they have gone through.

How in hell does another nigger riot tie in to police militarization?? I stopped reading right there....... If White people rioted against niggers over a White person, yet again, getting mugged out on the street the "issue" of police militarization would not be mentioned. While this is being painted as a race issue, there is yet another issue that is not being addressed – that is the militarization of the civil police forces around the country.

Lets see, MRAPS, Drones, even small town "law enforcement" equipped like a military special ops team should be a clue. I don't think the build up of a "civilian army, just as strong " is being created to stop "nigger riots". Remember who's policy that is. This is a test, shock and awe if you will. What good is it to equip your army and not give them any training. And it is true, most "whites" will see this as just getting those animals under control. Its what the gobberment hopes for. Divide, control a group at a time. Don't think your time isn't coming. " If White people rioted ", lol " the "issue" of police militarization would not be mentioned. " I agree, but that majority is becoming the new minority. There is an effort to break down that group through labels, IE: "home grown terrorist". Not my label. It won't be seen as an attack on "white" people. But rather as a your either with us or against us thing. If they can't see it now, they won't see it until there being brought under control also. And by then it will be to late to riot. How in hell does another nigger riot tie in to police militarization??

Still lots of Summer left and things "happen in threes." LA had a shooting last night, so I think it's time for Philly, NYC or Baltimore to complete the circuit. Watching this shit is right up there with the Superbowl for me!

"This killing of this black teen is not simply racism" Terry, check out the other thread I started on Michael Brown: he's a thug, the article's author fails when he calls his killing "racism". MRAP's: yes, they have no purpose in a civilian police department. Drones? Their just an unmanned police helicopter with very limited range/use. The article remains a jumbled mess of conflicting/unrelated topics, IMO.

In the case of nogs going nuts, it takes implements of war to put down their antics. Back in 1992 I certainly would have preferred to see 100,000 dead darkies on the streets of L.A. rather than see one working White man dragged from his truck and hit in the head with bricks. As a totally separate issue, my concern is summed up with this simplistic pop- culture reference:

Good pic, we agree on alot more then it may appear. Don't get me wrong.I checked out your other post. And even the reeeveaaand (my ass) jesse and his sidekick al couldn't turn that one into a riot. Even with O claiming him as his son and the doj investigating? There not the sharpest tools thats ever been in the white shed. And so far , (do you know ?) I havent found any reason why he was shot. Seems just like before that isn't the issue. This is just another attempt. Prblem-solution Der homland secuity must be having wet dreams. If this does explode they will be given even more power and armament. And they will only build on that when its over.

Michael Brown made a grab for the cops' gun. That's always a surefire way to commit suicide-by-cop. The sheriff's deputies carry AR-15's around here, but they haven't shot anybody lately. They toss the AR-15's in the trunk and they bounce around, I don't know if they could hit the side of a barn with 'em. County budge is so tight that they can't even afford to purchase a copy of Soldier of Fortune magazine for their sheriff's office breakroom.
