According to the report, Brown got physical with the convenience story employee over a box of cigars worth $48.99 he was trying to steal.
I cannot even make out who that person would be on those images because the face is cut off from the top and in the fourth image the face is obscured by some light that blocks out the face.
Maybe the t-shirt, khaki shorts and strange sandals will help.
Help with what? That there is a black man down on the streets? That does not explain who that guy was in the video image.
It does not convict him of anything so to speak at this point. However, without hammering the point to death for those who are visually impaired, the similarity of dress and somewhat unusual combination of apparel strongly suggest that this is the same individual given the assumption that the security cam still can be dated and timed just previous to the event in question. Does that help?
No it does not help and nor does it provide ample proof of his "unusual manner of dress" as you call it. Remember that images taken from a video camera from a crime scene can be cropped and tampered with. It is why the video provides proof because images taken from that video can be tampered with to suppress and/or withhold information from the pubic.
"Proof" will be in found the preponderance of the evidence, and the chain of evidence will be examined and challenged in front of a jury. Only time will tell where that leads. The stills presented here are part of a police report, as far as we can tell at this point, and will have to be sworn to on pain of perjury. Let's not jump to any hasty conclusions at this point. This story is still evolving. ; ]
