My vote in the above mentioned category goes to the old Joe Walsh album, The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get.

And he's one musician who could always back that up, too.

Isn't Rocky Mountain Way from that album? I've always figured this was an anthem against the new liberal politics that came out of the hippies moving their "socialist revolution" into government.

He replied, "No. That's John Denver's song".

He then went on to perform a live version of Rocky Mountain Way.
