But the funeral that unfolded Monday was about much more than the black 18-year-old who lay in the closed casket after being shot to death by a white police officer. The emotional service sought to consecrate Brown's death as another in the long history of the civil rights movement and implored black Americans to change their protest chants into legislation and law.

"Show up at the voting booths. Let your voices be heard, and let everyone know that we have had enough of all of this," said Eric Davis, one of Brown's cousins.

The Rev. Al Sharpton called for a movement to clean up police forces and the communities they serve.

"We're not anti-police. We respect police. But those police that are wrong need to be dealt with just like those in our community that are wrong need to be dealt with," Sharpton said.

Two uncles remembered how Brown had once predicted that someday the whole world would know his name.

"He did not know he was offering up a divine prophecy," Bernard Ewing said.

Like I said previously - and now the DemRats' endgame is confirmed - i.e. the reason Ferguson has the att'n of the ( aka their) DOJ and the ( aka their) President.

Several important seats hang in the balance in southern states. DemRats need their African American "brothers" to come out and vote.

Those of you who believe the DemRats and GOP have the same domestic agenda, just sit on your hands and don't vote. Holder, Jarrett, and Barry will thank you.

But afterwards please don't whine about how whites are being fudged over by affirmative action legislation, HUD affordable housing diversity legislation, criminals being sentenced to reflect the race % of the general populastion and not to reflect the actual crime done, etc etc etc

Take it straight up because you will have brought it on yourself.

The pet negro's have been catered to by FedGov my whole life, that won't change just because YT objects. Obongo has and is releasing convicted murderers who are here illegally and the GOP hasn't and won't do anything about it other than make a feigned noise of indignation and outrage to their constituents in order to get re-elected. I've given up on voting because FedGov is a leviathan with it's own will at this point and The People's will be damned. I've called one of my senators (Ted Cruz), he can't do anything as long as the Demonrats control the Senate under that bastard Harry Reid. My other senator is John Cornyn, he's worthless. My representative is a senile old geezer from WWII who's mind is gone, he's no good and his staff can't answer the simplest question on any issue. It's the same around the country. Looks like we're all on our own from here on out.

Remember: R's controlled the House and the Senate for, what, two years under Bush? What changed? What alphabet agency got spanked? What entitlement program was abolished? The R's had their chance to reform FedGov and they lived down to my lowest expectations.

Your continued fervency that change is possible is admirable. I only see change happening if a nuclear bomb is detonated right over the White House that also flattens the Crapitol Building and takes out the Supreme Court while it is in session.
