In life Michael Brown was an 'aspiring rapper' and a garden-variety street- thug, in death he's been deified and used as a vehicle to further the agenda of grifters and yellow-rag 'journalists'.

I'm surprised that he doesn't just come right out and pass around an offering plate.....

The event lasted two hours and forty-five minutes.

I've never witnessed such.

None, believe it or not.

Why weren't you there representing us in our time of sorrow?

Looks like Dak could have made an appearance for those of us who were just too broke up and all tore up from the floor up to go.

MSM really laying it on thick - geez Louise! - and lo and behold the magic words "voting booth" appear ...hmmm....

www.usnews.com/news/us/ar...t-louis-for-brown-funeral

But the funeral that unfolded Monday was about much more than the black 18-year-old who lay in the closed casket after being shot to death by a white police officer. The emotional service sought to consecrate Brown's death as another in the long history of the civil rights movement and implored black Americans to change their protest chants into legislation and law.

"Show up at the voting booths. Let your voices be heard, and let everyone know that we have had enough of all of this," said Eric Davis, one of Brown's cousins.

The Rev. Al Sharpton called for a movement to clean up police forces and the communities they serve.

"We're not anti-police. We respect police. But those police that are wrong need to be dealt with just like those in our community that are wrong need to be dealt with," Sharpton said.

Two uncles remembered how Brown had once predicted that someday the whole world would know his name.

"He did not know he was offering up a divine prophecy," Bernard Ewing said.

"legislation and law"? What needs to change, laws that prohibit criminal behavior?? If negro's would stop breaking the law and act like civilized White people they wouldn't go to jail, get shot, etc.

"Show up at the voting booths. ..." said Eric Davis, one of Brown's cousins.

Like I said previously - and now the DemRats' endgame is confirmed - i.e. the reason Ferguson has the att'n of the ( aka their) DOJ and the ( aka their) President.

Several important seats hang in the balance in southern states. DemRats need their African American "brothers" to come out and vote.

Those of you who believe the DemRats and GOP have the same domestic agenda, just sit on your hands and don't vote. Holder, Jarrett, and Barry will thank you.

But afterwards please don't whine about how whites are being fudged over by affirmative action legislation, HUD affordable housing diversity legislation, criminals being sentenced to reflect the race % of the general populastion and not to reflect the actual crime done, etc etc etc

Take it straight up because you will have brought it on yourself.

OK scrap, message received. But this thread illustrates how far we've sunk. The media continues to lionize a criminal, while the same apparatchiks were playing laugh tracks over the likes of Ron Paul. It's no wonder out of all the possibilities available to us on the side of liberty, we have politicians who beg for approval at the Wailing Wall. The two problems are closely connected. Remember what they did to Rand Paul when he questioned the need for the Civil Rights Act?

Yes at the higher abstract level they are connected obviously.

But at the present time - think small and realistic - what individuals can do to forestall the agitprop danger.

i.e. Vote to save your rights to fairness in your own country.

We are all Officer Wilson now.

We are all Officer Wilson now.

From what I've read about his character and dedication to his community, I don't know that I could ever step into those shoes. I hope most Americans will remember him well despite the ongoing charades like this funeral.

I still say that Officer Wilson should flee the country for a distant locale that won't extradite him back here and shoot his middle finger right into Obongo's and Lil' Eric Holders eyes. George Zimmerman got off but Officer Wilson is going to fry, FedGov won't be denied it's sacrificial victim this time.

but Officer Wilson is going to fry

You may be right, X-15.

It makes me sad there were so few supporters at a rally to show support for Officer Wilson's right to have a fair hearing - local folks might be afraid to be identified under the circumstances - this is not the America I used to know:

news.yahoo.com/national-g...r-ferguson-072108370.html

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Conditions calmed this week in Ferguson after nights of sometimes violent unrest stemming from the fatal shooting of a black 18-year- old by a white police officer. But a delicate and crucial question lingers: What happens if the grand jury now considering the case doesn't return a charge against the officer?

The fear among some local residents and officials trying to maintain peace in Ferguson is that failure to charge the officer could stoke new anger among a community profoundly mistrustful of the legal system. Many say they just hope the grand jury's decision, whatever it is, has irrefutable facts to back it up.

U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill told The Associated Press she's pushing for federal and local investigations to be completed around the same time so that all evidence in the case can be made public — a step many consider important should prosecutors decide not to charge the officer. Her office said Friday that the Department of Justice hasn't given a timeline for the federal investigation, which centers on whether a civil rights violation occurred when officer Darren Wilson fatally shot the unarmed Michael Brown on Aug. 9.

Many residents who live in the Ferguson, eager to end the disruptions to their lives caused by protests and police presence, say they fear the community's anger will explode anew if Wilson isn't charged.

"This officer has to be indicted. I'd hate to see what happens if he isn't. The rioting, the looting, man ...," said resident Larry Loveless, 29, as he stopped at the memorial for Brown where he was killed.

The most likely state charges that will be considered in such a case include second-degree murder, voluntary manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter, he said.

/////////////////////////////

Like I said, Officer Wilson would do better to permanently skip out of America because he's got a target right between his eyes and Eric Holder wants a human sacrifice.
